Are you male or female? Everyone knows the answer for sure, don't you? And though I do not intend to say anything chauvinist, but the fact of being of one or another gender does influence our life. And I think that this fact also has its impact on the games we choose, as well as on many other goods we pick for ourselves. Do you agree?

I think it's no secret for anyone that most of casual games audience is female. Women are the majority of people downloading, buying and playing the games. And the market adapts to this fact by offering such titles as Wedding Dash , Kindergarten or Cooking Academy . I guess this explains the abundance of games devoted to fashion, farming, cooking or caring for children. And if you ask me whether games have gender, my answer will definitely be positive. Yes, absolute majority of games do have gender. And I think no one will argue that such Zen Fashion , Flower Stand Tycoon , Jane's Hotel: Family Hero or Dream Chronicles 2: The Eternal Maze are female-oriented.

But, though it is really so, no one can deprive us of our right to play the games that are obviously targeted at male audience. It's great to serve food or dress models, but sometimes we also need a way to let our emotions go. And in this case Zombie Shooter , Astro Avenger 2 , Star Defender 4 or Space Strike prove to be really helpful. Shoot a couple of monsters - and life is good again, isn't it?

And vice versa, I have met men who enjoyed Ice Cream Mania and Cooking Quest , not to mention Dream Day First Home , and women addicted to Hidden Mysteries: Civil War and Blood Ties . So, if you ask me whether games have gender, I'll say "Yes, but it doesn't matter at all";)
