While everyone was enjoying their winter holidays, game developers had their sleeves up busy with creating new amazing titles for us to have fun. The first week of January have already brought us some games definitely worth attention, and I'd like to tell you about some of them.

So, what newly released and interesting titles can we find on game portals? Let's do it by genres.

Hidden Object and Quest:

Wild West Quest 2
- a high quality sequel to the western HOG taking you to the past to solve a long forgotten mystery. Addictive game play and perfect visuals.

Natalie Brooks: The Treasures of the Lost Kingdom - another sequel, this time in a quest series. THe adventurous girl goes to save her grandfather, and, again, solve a mystery and find treasures in a fascinating quest.

Mystery P.I.: The New York Fortune - one more of the numerous sequels released lately. Still worth trying without doubt. You'll search for the will of a weird NY millionaire - and have tons of fun.

Art Detective - quite a traditional but engaging game with intricate story. Track the art criminal until he spoils all the classic paintings.

Haunted Hotel II: Believe the Lies
- a year has passed and the second part of the story is out. Welcome back to atmosphere of intrigue and suspense!

Fabulous Finds - a cute hidden object game with unique game play. Find items your neighbors might need and sell them by holding yard sales with many funny characters.

Puzzles - only one game in the category, though certainly one of the best choices here:Liong: The Lost Amulets . Play unusual mahjong style and bring back to live the amulets of the five elements.

Big Fish Games
Time-management, strategy and simulation:

Cooking Academy 2 World Cuisine - again a sequel of the highest quality. Learn to cook dishes from exotic and traditional cuisines by performing various simulation tasks.

Carnival Mania - a festive game where you have to manage your own amusement park, choosing rides and attractions and handling any emergencies there could be.

Be Rich! - a real estate strategy game similar to Build-a-lot series, but with some new twists in game play. Addictive and challenging.

Chocolate Shop Frenzy - a traditional and nice time-management. Run your own shop, sell all kinds of chocolates and click fast!

Chocolatier - Decadence by Design - the third installment of the strategy series. Travel all over the globe for the exotic ingredients, create your own recipes and manage your sales with much more control and options!

Hope you find a game or two to your liking among the titles I told you about. Have a nice weekend!

Platformers generally have very slimpe stories, since they are mostly action-based and don't really need a plot to drive them forwards.Hmmm... I'm really curious about what this "addition" is. Sounds interesting... :-D
