Mixture of genres is a popular way to make the game more interesting and addicting. Heroes of Kalevala from MythPeople is an example of this. In this newly released game you are to play match-three levels with some sim-like parts here and there. As it often happens some kind of world is in some kind of danger, and there is some kind of solving this problem. Your people are struggling with the results of a drought. You go to a shaman for help, and what he tells you to do is to go to the land of Kaleva and build a totally new place for your people to live. The story's roots go back to Finnish mythology. The building of the settlements you do by playing a series of match-three levels.
So there is the first game, and if you played it, you will notice a lot of similar things between the two. You start off by choosing a female and male character for the game. Then you get a short dialogue between the two which you had chosen. And from that dialogue you get that they are on their way to her dad, who might be in trouble now because of the snow storm. The dialogue stops as they fall from the bridge. There they can reach different buildings and items. There is a dog that joins them and is willing to help along the way. From that moment on you are going to accomplish different tasks given to you and play a few mini-games in between the major levels.
Summer Resort Mogul presents one of the most popular and desirable scenarios before you. And it is a two-fold scenario. One part of it is about you having a rich uncle that just died. Another one is that you are to work building a resort. Both aspects are equally attractive especially if you are a simulation genre fan. For you it is three-fold then. The game starts with you being told about the last will of your rish uncle. It happened that you and John are the only family of that person and you two are going to show which one of you deserves the company.
These village simulation series created by Last Day of Work have become so popular that now we meet the fifth sequel - Virtual Villagers 5: New Believers.Once again we are on the mysterious island called Isola. The story starts when a child discovers a lost mask on a forbidden path at the edge of the village. The elders gather to examine never seen mask and appoint a small group of villagers to search that path, which take them into the darkest part of the jungle. Unfortunately, they are captured and taken prisoners by faceless, non-believing natives. You play as a god trying to protect your little band on this beautiful island, to help them survive and develop, and to convert some of these heathens to your side in order to enlarge your tiny tribe.
Royal Envoy 2 is the sequel to one of the best strategy games of the last year. The game has something in common with all of the games of this genre, something familiar from the previous release, and something unique to this release. You are going to save the kingdom of Middleshire from many problems by managing the resources available to you. If you played the first game, you might be happy to see Cedric. If not, I'm sure you won't be disapponted either. If you are a fan of this genre, you might not be able to get as many new releases as the fans of the hidden object game genre, but you are kind of lucky this time. And the reason is because I don't think I have ever played a hidden object game that would last at least like 10-15 hours.
The old Biuld-a-lot series found a new life in this new release Build-a-lot: Fairy Tales. You do the same thing that you did (if you ever played the series) but in a totally different invironment. The characters are already familiar to you from all the fairy tales that you heard as a child. The game is set in the land of fairy tales with whimsical woodlands and all kinds of characters, that either need your help or destroy you work. It is them whom you work this time for. Your coworkers are cute little fairies. As you can see the whole thing has taken a new look.
Where do you go ever day to buy some stuff to eat? To the nearest shop I suppose, no matter whether it is a big prosperous supermarket or a small shop. The more important thing for you is what kind of service you will meet there. Have you ever thought of what a hard work it is to serve the customers quickly and keep them happy to keep them coming back? But Supermarket Management 2 is not a book on retail management it is just a game, where you have a chance to penetrate into the supermarket life as its owner. Owning and managing an upcoming retail outlet is no easy task! I hope the main heroine- Kate, who has just come back after working in the huge supermarket for a while, understands it either. As she decides to open her own tiny shop with one employee, she needs your help and your talents, and perhaps your business experience and wits to succeed in retail industry and turn her small shop into most successful supermarket in the entire city.
The saving and rescuing somebody usually happens in the hidden object puzzle adventure genre. But this time you are to save the gnomes' kingdom in this strategy/time management game. A Gnome's Home: The Great Crystal has a cute story and graphics and a great mission to accomplish. The game is timed and the challenge level is high. It will take lots of hard work for the gnomes and you to get the gold. The game is very similar to mamy other road games with a liniar story development.
