Not too long ago the first game in the House of 1000 Doors series has been released, and it won out many gamers with everything it had to offer. Today we are looking at its sequel to see what it's worth. The game features the story about the cursed gem (I wonder how many thousands of times this theme has been used in all the genres of the casual games, but it still doesn't mean that it spoils the experience). The cursed gem causes a lot of trouble and the one who ends up solving this problem is Kate Reed from the previous release. |

The game features some really neat production values. You are going to play as the queen's best maiden who has been accused of stealing the royal brooch. And having stolen it, you also released some evil spirits. Anyways, you desparately need to find the evidence of your innocence and deal with the dangerous spirits. You can do either this or be beheaded. Those who stick to this particular genre of the casual games will recognize that the story is quite unusual and intriguing too. The graphics and sounds that tell you this story are just as great. The music is not stellar but it is still very appropriate. |

Ghost Encounters - Deadwood is a newly released hiddn object puzzle adventure game. The game features an intriguing story with many interesting and funny characters. Despite some good parts of the game, it still needs some more work to be done with other parts. First of all a few words about the story. It starts out really promising. There is a ghost that takes away the lives of the people of a town of Deadwood. As to the gameplay, it is not very challenging in general.

Silent Nights: The Pianist looks good and feels good as you play it. You play as a great pianist, whose sister was kidnapped by an anciant organisation. You and your sister are very talented at playing piano. Now, as you arrive to the concert to support your sister, you lean that she is now might be used for somebody else's purposes, and not necessarily good ones.

The game has a great story of love and courage and danger, that is wrappped into really beautiful graphics. You play as this young brave man, whose loved one is in danger. Facing this great challenge for their future marriege and lives, he finds the courage to stand up against so called Faithless Ones. I believe this is a great story, and it is also perfect for the games of this genre. |
