This game comes from a genre where you usually do not see to many dark themes. But Build-a-Lot: Mysteries tells you right away with its tittle and graphics that it is going to be different this time. So prepare to uncover some mysteries... The story has never been one the major parts of the games of the time management games. But this one is really worth of our attention. You are going to work with Graves Family and get to know it's members and their eccentric interests and stories. It seems like a much more personal and funier way to keep people interested in the story even in this genre. While you do have to meet new characters and get to know their secrets and their shady past, this is still not your primary task here. You still need to make some wise strategic and business decisions. And you do that fast.
If you are spending your summer this year in a place where it's hot and you happen to be a hidden object puzzle adventure genre fan, you will be so pleased with Nightmares from the Deep: The Siren's Call Collector's Edition! This game is sequel to a game that captivated the minds and hearts of the genre fans so easily. The story revolves about this develish sea creature Davy Jones, who has found a new ally for his evil intentions. The story is just full of unexpected twists and turns. Here you have a stranger bringing you a package, then you find yourself in place that is under a curse or something because people are turning into sea creatures. And once again you meet Davy Jones. Anyways, the game is refreshing for a hot summer day!
It's an undeniable fact that we have more women now saving the world than men. Legends of the East: The Cobra's Eye Collector's Editionis just another story like that, but it really hits the target as it offers the kind of a story and a gameplay that the fans of the genre are really looking for. Well, the story is actually about the fate of the world at stake because of some artifact. The evil forces are really after it and somehow you are the only one to prevent them from obtaining it. Your loved one turned out to be in the middle of it all. So in addition to rescuing the world, you are now also to rescue him. Not very romantic, huh?
Natural Threat 2 is a Sci-Fi story wrapped into some nice graphics and full of challenging puzzles. The story is quite relevant to our invironment-obsessed generation. This time the nature turns back on humans and it's either you and your family or ... plants. Once again the main character and the hero in this story is a woman. In this cataclismic situation, you play as Iris, who needs to go to her city over taken by giant plants to rescue her family and the city. The game's graphics are quite decent here even though you can find much more detailed and deeper ones out there today.
Mystery Trackers: Silent Hollow Collector's Edition is another release in one of those series that become so loved and desired by the gamers. This time it is for the hidden object puzzle adventure genre fans. Just as you would expect, the game is excellent in all of its aspects. There are some mysterious events going on (there should be, at least because of the tittle, right?) and the headquarters are in trouble. There's a danger growing over the whole department and more and you are called in to save the day. It sounds pretty easy and familiar to the point of being boring, but trust me, the story is well thought through.
All of us have their own sweet memories of some events or places that love to go back to. But when we grow up, we sometimes learn something unpleasant or disappointing about those things that seemed to be almost secred. Almost the same thing happens with the main character of Strange Discoveries: Aurora Peak Collector's Edition. Aurora Peak is a place that you remember from the time when you were a kid. It had been a wonderful mountain resort until some strange things began to happen here with animals and plants. Everything seems to be connected with the unusual crystals that are part of the georgraphical location. But as you learn more and more about the situation, you realize that the whole world id in danger.
Farm Mystery: The Happy Orchard Nightmare is a hidden object puzzle adventure game for a very limitted audience. It looks a bit outdated as you encounter all of the game's parts. Though there just might be someone whose requirements will be met in this game. As you could have guessed by now, the story rovolves around a farm. Strange things have been hapenning in the farm and in a town. The reasons are ot that clear and it is your job to find them out. That's the story of Farm Mystery: The Happy Orchard Nightmare in a nutshell.
Final Cut: Encore Collector's Edition is a sequel with a continuation of an intriguing story. The game seems to have it all - the graphics are gorgeous, the story is full of unexpected turns, and the puzzle are challenging enough to keep you entertained the whole time. Just like with most sequels, it doesn't really matter if you played the previous release or not. You get enough information in this one to have an idea of what's going on (or you can actually go back and find the first game because it's almost just as good as this one). This time you have more mysteries to uncover about your father. The story is actually interesting to follow to see the end.
