Echoes of the Past: the Castle of Shadows is the continuation of Oreon's Echoes of the Past: Royal House of Stone, the game that managed to get hundreds of admirers. The second part has a lot of new features that differ it from the wide row of other puzzle games and make it really fascinating. This game has a very interesting and intriguing gameplot that will keep you in tension till the end. Being invited to the exhibition of the Royal House Museum, you find a strange painting among others. The beautiful queen depicted on it comes to life – her spirit leaves the picture. She tells you that a witch has cursed the citizens of her town and turned them into shadows. There is no alive soul now, but only silhouettes... The only way to turn all these poor people back to real life is to find out the pieces of the royal's family relic – ancient amulet. Save the kingdom by collecting all parts of the lost amulet! |

Emerald City Confidential is a new game to take you into Oz you have never seen before. The new puzzle game was developed by Wadjet Eye Games and published by PlayFirst. You are to solve a case going through a number of mysteries. And you go through all of the journey with already familiar characters - Scarecrow, Lion, Dorothy and Toto. The money offered for the case you are to solve made it worthy to take up but soon Petra, your character, realizes the depth of mysteries and danger. Emerald City Confidential is a beautiful game with lovingly-crafted, detailed scenes and plenty of animation. |

If you expect some drama, horror or great mystery, Emma and the Inventor is not for you. The game's story does have some unclear and challenging turns, but nothing extremely disgusting and terrifying and sick. This is a place for a nice pieceful quest. Having said that the quest is pieceful, I didn't mean that there are no problems to solve here. You play as Emma, a young girl, who set out to visit her grandpa only to find him missing. You only know that something happened with him as he was testing a new machine. The game offers a well known set of activities. |

Empress of the Deep: the Darkest Secret must be one of the not so many games that I dare to call "excellent". And I think a lot of other people will join my opinion. It has all the features that are necessary for the game to deserve such a remark: polished graphics, awesome sound and really thrilling story. The game starts when a girl, who has been sleeping for over a century, wakes up in an unknow place, without knowing who she is and what she is doing here. At this particular moment, you must think that such kind of an idea for the gameplot is far not new for the casual games today. But read to the end and you will be surprised.
