This last one from Her Interactive, Nancy Drew: Ransom of the Seven Ships, is no exception. In this game Nancy goes to an exotic island in the Bahamas where she meets her friends George and Bess. Soon after her arrival George tells her that Bess is kidnapped and the ransom for Bess is the lost treasure of El Toro, a 350-year old legend which Nancy has to find if she ever hopes to see Bess again.

You are to go through a number of really challenging levels and to find the answers for just as challenging questions the main character has. Ann Smith is the character you play as. Having gotten into a helicopter crash she is trying to find out who she is, what has happened and what to do next. Suffering from amnesia Ann Smith is travelling from one place in Africa to another. You play by moving Ann around the area to speak with characters, learn clues and collect objects to solve puzzles.

The game is based on life and works of a famous writer Edgar Allan Poe. Well that's not quite true, the game is based more on the DEATH and works of this 19th century writer. The game main idea grew up out of the fact that we don't know the real cause of his death. In the game, you're a famous mystery writer and with the help of a supernatural pocket watch, you're transported to Poe's haunting tales in order to find his murderer. You are to help Poe's soul find rest finally. For that you will have to go to a number of places to search for clues and talk with those who may have some information to help you find out the killer.
Kuros is a newly released adventure game from Sandlot Games. You are the only one to save the world from an end. You are not only to do that but als to find out first who and where you are and what to do next. You play as Katya who is the one to correct what somebody has done by tampering with the glyphstones that keep the world in balance. Kuros is the world where the glyphs are kept. You are to go a number of locations in five elemental lands: wood, fire, water, ice, and metal, trying to find items to help you sole the puzzles. Your final task before leaving a land is restoring its glyphstone. After you clear away the detritus that surrounds it, you'll have to complete the inscription carved into its face by figuring out the pattern of symbols. This is the one area of Kuros that may frustrate some players.

You are to search the mansion through to find the mysterious evil artifacts. In Department 42: The Mystery of the Nine, you're an agent for a secret organization committed to investigating the paranormal. Nine evil artifacts were locked up in a mansion but after a fire in that place and now they are missing. Your task is to find those items. Mysterious and malevolent things are now happening throughout the continent, so it's up to you to solve these nine stories to save the world from harm. Most of the game are hidden object levels where you are to search for the items listed at the bottom of the screen. Most of them are not related to the scenes you are in but some go to your inventory to be used later in the game.
