Casual games usually send you with a mission of any kind to a place of any kind. This time you are to help several casinos in Los Vegas to become successful again. Casino Chaos is a time-management game where you control everything that is going on in every casino. The game honestly doesn't have too much to order especially for the time-management genre fans. The game starts off with no special story. You are just the manager they have been waiting for to help the casinos get back to their former prosperity. So your job here is to drag every comming customer to the type of game that they want, which is seen in the thought bubble near their heads.
Vampire Saga - Welcome To Hell Lock promisses to be all creepy and bloody, but it really isn't, and the gameplay assignments that you get are not that challenging all together. There might be one really impressive horror-wise moment in the game, and that's about it. The game takes you into an abandoned town, where you are to explore the streets and many other locations in order to find your way out of there. There isn't much of the story told behind the gameplay. You travel to new (or old) locations using the pictures in the photo album. That makes it easier to know where to go next or where there's a hidden object scene for you, but it also turns the game into a collection of hidden object scenes, rather than a story gradually unfolding before you.
This game offers you an opportunity to know what the life of an art businessman looks like. The game is actually seems to be more a combination of hidden object and simulation/strategy genres. You are to go all the may from an amateur to a gallery owener. You get a short tutorial before you are left on your own. But of course you still get some directions in the game. The basic activities here are buying paintings, selling them for higher prices, bidding at the auctions, and identifying fake art. That all also involves travelling around the world. You might be wondering right now about what that has to do with hidden object routine. The search for items is actually a part of every of the above mentioned activities.
The very name of the game is telling clearly about the game genre. And you know that you can expect some frenzy for a couple of hours. But little did you expect to have to catch a criminal using your social and business skills in Summer Rush. You play as a beach business owner, but in reality you went undercover in order to collect enough clues to find a bad guy. This is not typical in the time-management games, and it makes a great feature offering kind of two stories at a time. The graphics are not the best you have ever seen, but they do create a nice vacation atmosphere with the sand and water and all the tourists. This might be a place of comfort for those who didn't get any of it this summer yet.
This time the game takes you under water with a mission. Tales of Lagoona - Orphans of the Ocean doesn't look like a typical hidden object game with all the mermaid theme, but it does play like one with all the things to collect and find. The story sets a very noble mission before you. You are to complete the game in order to save an orphanage. The Coral Bay orphanage is in danger of being leveled and turned into a shopping mall. Young mermaid called Isabelle is determined to prevent this from hapenning. She is going to do that by selling the many treasures of the orphanage. So as you can expect you are going to go through many rooms of the place cluttered with all kinds of things. The money from those things can be then spent on the renovation of the orphanage.
Lara Gates - The Lost Talisman has been recently released into the denre of hidden object games. The game doesn't stand up to the standard of the genre hits. It doesn't mean that the game is a total disaster though. You are going to play as a young anthropologist named Lara (you didn't need me to tell you that because the name of the game dives it all away, right?). She usually works for wealthy clients when they need some help with ancient artifacts. This time around she is given an assignment by a college Dean to study some ancient talismans hidden around the campus. As you start this so called case, you soon realize that those talismans attract evil powers to the world as by staying separated. So this is the beginning of the journey Lara is about to take in Lara Gates - The Lost Talisman.
If you ever played any of the farm-themed games, Virtual farm 2 won't surprise you with anything. But that doesn't mean you are going to be disapponted with it. Lots of farming, selling and upgrading is waiting for you in this one. There isn't too much of a story behind this game really. You meet this mister full of plans on how to use this farm better. And you are the one who is going to do all the work. You really are not afraid of humble beginnings, cause you start with just some hey. You are to take care of the whole growing process. You water, you reap, you sow. Then you are able to plant other vegitables. And soon you are going to have a really nice garden. But you do not stop on that. Soon you develop the business by getting cattle and producing other products, like diary, for example.
Macabre Mysteries: Curse of the Nightingale is the latest adventure/hidden object release. And I should say the game is really worth the attention of the gurus of the genre as well as of those who are at the point of finding out if this genre is their thing. The major parts of the game do make it one of the few really good and addictive ones. The story, the mini puzzles, the hidden object levels and the interactive parts are mixed together so very well. You play as a grandson of the old theater director. You will come to the old theater as was told to you by your grandparent in a note dated 30 years ago. As you arrive you actually meet your grandfather. And you discover that you possess a special gift of visualisation(or whatever that is called).
