This time you have chance to play a typical hidden object/adventure gamein a wonderful fairy-tale land. It is a break from bloody, spooky, horrifying, mysterious atmosphere. Even though there are some problems to solve, it is kind of more friendly. You play as a young fairy girl who is now responsible for fixing a portal. I know I'm not saying more than the title itself, but that is mostly because the story that is told to you is not altogether very clear. You get to meet a professor who did something wrong and now they need you, a human, to fix it. There is a small friend/mentor for you. It is an old mouse. You accomplish your task through the familiar set of activities. You will have to play the hidden object levels and you will play them a lot. Entering almost every location, you will have to find all the items on the list. Those are sometimes hard to find. But this is the case when it is hard to find because the scene is not cluttered, but rather clean with everything that belongs there.
Amaranthine Voyage: The Living Mountain is a really good hidden object puzzle adventure game with a story about rescue, reputation, and relying on your knowledge to do all that is required. The game is beautiful and challenging. The game is a sequel to the previous release where you have found the Tree of Life and rescued the whole world. The experience was great but nobody believed you when it was over. Your students even make fun of you, but one day... and elderly man comes to you and asks for help to find his son who supposedly had found a portal before he was gone.
Grab your hipster scarf, glasses, plaid, and beard and get ready for the award-winning Amaranthine Voyage: The Obsidian Book Collector's Edition. Book lovers beware, as this game just might suck you into its portal to mystery and magic. Professor Samantha Bennett has discovered a Harmonium Extractor and a portal to another universe. Amaranthine Voyage: The Orb of Purity Collector's Edition is a new hidden object puzzle adventure game from the studio Eipix Entertainment known for a couple of other great installments, likePhantasmat: The Dead of Oakville (the last release in the Phantasmatseries). When suddenly a visitor from a different world came through the portal urging her to help him protect his world and the Earth.
This third installment of the Amaranthine Voyage series has you on a quest to save earth from a fate similar to that which the planet, Anther, faced years ago when a monster called, Torment, arrived and drained its magic and forced people to flee to earth as refugees. This Hidden Object Puzzle Adventure game has you jumping back and forth between earth and Anther to stop Torment in accordance with an ancient prophecy. The graphics are weird. Imagine a combination of ancient Athens, dieselpunk, floating islands, the smoke monster from Lost, the weird light-thingies that turned into rock-monsters in the Noah movie (totally not biblical, by the way), Indiana Jones, the Garden of Eden, and the Elf Land from Lord of the Rings.
Amaranthine Voyage: The Tree of Life is a beautiful game with some breath taking adventure set before you. As you uncover new worlds, first, your understanding is changing as well as you are now challenged to save those worlds. Will you take the challenge? You are an archaeologist who has his own views and understanding of certain things. But your job itself is something that might turn some aspects around. As you find an artifact, you find out the story of the tree of life wasn't just a legelnd. And now you are holding the key to save this newly discovered world for some evil force.
