Most of us went through this period when you grow up and suddenly realize that some of your family issues have not been exactly what you thought of them as you were a child. Family Tales: The Sisters is a hidden object puzzle adventure game where you need to go deep down to your family past and possibly change something. The game's story falls into a very familiar category of hidden object puzzle adventure games - you are haunted by nightmares where your sister is asking for your help. Soon you go to your family's house and find out that she really is in danger. This is an overly simplified version of the story, there is much more to it actually (the dark Lord, psychological trauma etc).
This game is another sequel (that is supposed to be the end of the story) of a game series about a princess and her kingdom. Princess Isabella: The Rise of an Heir Collector's Edition is more a story about the heir than Princess Isabella. This third game is about Princess Isabella's daughter. She was rescued by her mother's trusted friends when Princess Isabella was turned into stone by a witch. This witch is now to be overthrown by Bella, who is yet to learn about her heritage, and the kingdom is to be taken back to the real ruler! This is your mission and it is quite clear whether you have played the previous games or not.
Evil is at your door in Portal of Evil: Stolen Runes Collector's Edition. This hidden object puzzle adventure game is another story of you rescuing the world from a disaster because you the one. This theme is not new for us at all. Let's see if the other aspects of the game offer anything new. You are the only left heir of a member of some pretty influential group and you are a woman (couldn't help pointing that out being a great opponent of switching the roles between men and women). You need to find some ancient runes that will prevent a portal to open between evil and our world.
This game is a must for the genre fans! There might be those who disagree, but I'm pretty sure that the majority will oh so pleased and surprised. Rite of Passage: Child of the Forest Collector's Edition is a very well done hidden object puzzle adventure game that has some innovative features. The game starts out with what seems to be another spooky sptory. You live in a town that is constantly covered by darkness because of the forest that surrounds it. The trees are quite a great danger for the citizens and the lighthouse is their protection. As your husband goes out in search of answers to some dreams that he has been having, he find the lighthouse destroyed by fire, which only raises even more questions.
It is almost summer and it means that many of us are heading towards seas, lakes, oceans or other sources of water. What can be a better theme for a season like this that a theme of pirates?! Legacy Tales: Mercy of the Gallows is a great adventure with a mystery for you to uncover! The game takes place near Dutch coast. You will meet a family of a captain, who vanished together with his wife. Known for his fight against pirates he was found clothed as a pirate. Oh and dead too. You are to uncover the events or the whole story of this family that brough tthat to this point.
I'm pretty sure oppinions are going to devide on this game. Some will find Mystery Murders: The Sleeping Palace very simplistic and not up to date, while there will be others that will trully enjoy it from start to end. Mystery Murders: The Sleeping Palace is a hidden object puzzle adventure game that starts out with a quite interesting scene - you wake up in a palace and you have no idea how you ended up there. The story is not that fascinating and funny as that of movies with the same scenario (usually after a great amount of alcohol), but it is still interesting though. You will have to explore a little bit of everything to save the day. That will also include some romance (many would love to wake up to find out about their romantic relationship with a member of royalty).
Castle: Never Judge a Book by Its Cover is a game form of a TV series. You will probably be more interested if you are a fan ofCastle. But even if not, you might still enjoy the story and the puzzles put together in this hidden object puzzle adventure game. You are to help find a killer who leaves one victim after another with just a few clues to lead you to him. But you need to hurry because you don't want another death. As you learn about the story you get to hear some jokes that the characters make and those make more sence if you are familiar with the series.
There's not much new in this finely put together hidden object puzzle adventure game. Shiver: Moonlit Grove Collector's Edition is another game with somebody missing and new facts to be discovered. Even though the theme is not new and you probably have done it several times before, this one is very enjoyable. You play as someone who was raised by a foster father. This person is really dear and important to you, but he's gone missing. You have no idea that you are about to learn more about you and your foster father as you are attacked by a wolf and forced to run for your life in a very strange village. Anyway, the story is quite intriguing and entertaining.
