Veronica Rivers: Portals to the Unknown is a new hidden-object game for Mac, developed and published by Dragon Alter Games.
The
game is so very good that it will please pros and newcomers of the
genre. All the gorgeous production values do make the game definitely a
high quality product. Veronica is a resque pilot located in the north
pole. She gets a SOS message one day from some geologists in Alaska.
The girl starts for resquing them but she doesn't know that her journey
will bring her to so much farther then that. The game is divided into
two sections in a very traditional way - seek-and-find levels and
mini-games.
A new simulation game Fix-it-up: Kate's Adventure for Mac presents one of the
most popular types of game mechanics (resembling that of Build-a-lot)
in a totally new theme - car service. This makes it attractive for both
strategy and simulation fans as well as those in love with automobile
industry. Kate is definitely a very talented car mechanic, and she is
determined to prove it first by setting the declined auto workshop of
her father's up and running. On the whole the game is really addictive
and the game play is diverse enough for you to build your own strategy
and reach your goals your way!
Book of Legends is a hidden object/adventure game for Mac developed and
published by Gogii Games. You are taken on a journey with two siblings
in search of King Arthur's sword. Starting from Washington D.C. they
head to Europe and Asia then. One of them, Charlie, has opened a book
from the library and it turnes out to be the Book of Legends. The book
can give clues to finding the sword of King Arthur himself - an
irresistably attractive thing for a little boy. The game is full of
different kinds of puzzles and tons of hidden object games.
Black Hummer Productions have developed and PlayFirst have
published
a new sequel of a hidden-object and puzzle game - Nightshift
Legacy: The Jaguar's Eye. for Mac The sequel may bring out thoughts and
emotions different form those from the first one, but it is still worth
our attention anyways. We meet the same characters from the first game
- Mike and Isabel. And
again they are found in the process of search, dangerous search. The
game offers 6 chapters in total with several different levels each. So
this is what Nightshift Legacy: The Jaguar's Eye offers us: intriguing
story, challenging tasks and nice audio-visuals.
The new title for Mac from the extremely popular Jewel Quest series breaks the
tradition that earned the games their popularity, and offers you not
match 3, but hidden object basic game play. But the story is no less
engaging, as in the first parts, and the match 3 puzzles are still
here, though presented like mini-games. On the whole I would say the
game preserves the production value of the previous titles, it
continues to please us with the graphics, music and story, while adding
some diversity to the game play. But make sure your computers meets all
the technical requirements before you download your copy of Jewel Quest
Mysteries: Curse of the Emerald Tear!
