The hidden object/adventure genre is assosiated with mystery, ghosts, somebody missing, abandoned places etc. And Dark Dimensions: City of Fog is just so totally about it. Everything about this game makes it even more perfect. You will play a lot of hidden object levels. They are fun for several reasons. For one, the items belong to a location. There isn't too much of clutter from nowadays. Another thing that I enjoyed was that some of the items, sometimes half of them, take you to interact with some other items. That is not new, but it's usually one or two items like that, not half of them. That added more challenge to that. |

If you are like me, and you notice all smallests details of the games you play, you are going to like this game. Dark Parables: The Exiled Prince is one of the latest releases into the hidden object/adventure games. The game features a great story, absolutely wonderful graphics, and challenging tasks for you to accomplish. So the story that unrolls before you seems to be familiar at the beginning. You join a chancellor's daughter and her body guard as they walk in the forest. Soon they get lost and even missing, and that is the start of your adventures. As they go they talk about the Prince from the story where he used to be a frog, but turned into a man after being kissed. The classic story tells us that the used-to-be-a frog prince and the kisser lived happily ever after. But according to the game things went wrong somewhere along the way and the poor guy is now wandering in the forset. Such a beginning was a great hook for me to stay there more to see their version of the end of the story.

Well, one thing that I should say from the very start is that there are some basic don't's that you learn as a kid. Now I know one more thing to be added to that list. You do not get invovled into any dark rituals, that can lead you to some not good results. Do you want me to back it up? Just play Dark Ritual. The game is really dark and I would even say sick in its story. I believe that stories like that just destroy our brains. But I also know that there are those who disagree with me out there. So they might enjoy the story better than me. So you paly as an FBI agent trying to find her missing sister. You do not know what exactly had happened, but you know that it has something to do with the rituals she was involved into. The game takes a mystical turn after you find a scientist that uses some kind of mind controlling serum. |

The game has a great story of love and courage and danger, that is wrappped into really beautiful graphics. You play as this young brave man, whose loved one is in danger. Facing this great challenge for their future marriege and lives, he finds the courage to stand up against so called Faithless Ones. I believe this is a great story, and it is also perfect for the games of this genre. |
