Grim Tales: The Legacy   2012-01-06

Grim Tales: The Legacy

Grim Tales: The Legacy is a newly released hidden object puzzle adventure game. The game is dark, and the levels are challenging. The story of the game is the one that you don't want to be your own in real life. You play as a young woman who is on her way to reconnect with her sister. They haven't seen each other for a long time, and it seems that now is the chance to have this great family reunion. But family reunions often do not turn out what they are expected to be. This story is no exception.

Green Moon    2011-10-26

Green Moon

The much desired release of Absolutist has finally come out! Green Moon is calling for you to complete an amazing and fine mission and make the eternal dream of  humanity come true. Green Moon was supposed to remind the players what a classic quest game tastes like,  giving them the chance to exercise their brains. Saying without exaggeration, the developers really managed to make a go of it. If an original quest presupposes wandering around a decent number of locations trying to find or obtain a certain item, here you go!

You get a short tutorial in the beginning of the game. The general rules and tactics are pretty simple. The puzzles are based on the triangles. Then there are different items on the three sides of trialngles. If you are in the underwater part of the game, which is the first one, you have different kinds of fish. You have slots on the board, where you are to place the triangles.

Shadow Wolf Mysteries: Curse of the Full Moon   2011-01-28

Shadow Wolf Mysteries: Curse of the Full Moon

The issue of werewolf is inexhaustible not only in literature and cinema, but also in games. The plot is quite standard: somewhere people are disappearing and then their dead disfigured bodies are found. Afterwards the rumors about a werewolf hunting the people spread. That's right the case of the new game by ERS Game Studios named Shadow Wolf Mysteries: Curse of the Full Moon. Having played the other bestsellers of the game publisher such as Haunted Halls: Green Hills Sanitarium, Haunted Legends: The Queen of Spades, Dark Tales: Edgar Allan Poe's Black Cat and some others, personally I treat the ERS' bunny depicted in the logo as a quality mark. And I have never been disappointed.

House, M.D. - make a diagnosis!   2011-01-27

House, M.D. - make a diagnosis!

Can the boorish behavior be attractive? Do you know any drug addicted person that seems to be so cute? If your answer is “no” in both cases then you've never seen TV series called House, M.D. Otherwise the statement of Gregory House “Everybody lies” is true. Legacy Games did a great job featuring all of the wit and humor that had made the series such a success. Playing House, M.D. you'll wear the shoes of the titular character and have to unravel 5 different medical mysteries in the 5 episodes. And of course your team including everyone you know starting with Dr. James Wilson up to Dr. Remy "Thirteen" Hadley. But I have to warn you, if you're not a series' fan, the game might seem a mix of total bore and senseless actions to you as it has no tutorial or other kind of introduction to the theme.

Treasure Seekers: The Time Has Come Collector's Edition   2011-01-21

Treasure Seekers: The Time Has Come Collector's Edition

Tom and Nelly are not young children anymore. Since the first game in the series that was called Treasure Seekers: Visions of Gold the kids have grown up. All the actions take place in 1930s. Nelly is busy deciphering Mayan hieroglyphs when she is suddenly kidnapped by Totenkraft (yep, he is here as well). And guess what? Of course Tom is following the arch-enemy to save his sister. Actually if you're waiting for something original in the forth game of the series, don't be so naïve. But on the other hand, though Treasure Seekers: The Time Has Come reminds of all the its predecessors, it is the same when it goes about the quality of the game as well.

Fiction Fixers: The Curse of Oz    2010-11-22

Fiction Fixers: The Curse of Oz

The developers face a temptation to exploit a well-known and rather popular plot of the bestsellers pretty often. And it looks like Fugazo has stepped this road. After releasing Fiction Fixers: Adventures in Wonderland they decided to work over unfading novel of L. Frank Baum’s The Wonderful Wizard of Oz that has finally resulted in Fiction Fixers: The Curse of Oz. The sequel we’re talking about gives a chance to Victor Vile and Wicked Witch of the West to bring a disaster to the world of Oz and trap all the heroes we’ve already known. Being a full-fledged Fiction Fixer you’re supposed to deal with the troubles by your own this time.

Fear for Sale: The Mystery of McInroy Manor Collector's Edition   2010-11-19

Fear for Sale: The Mystery of McInroy Manor Collector's Edition

For quite some time there have been rumors about the McInroy estate. People say they’ve seen terrifying shadows and wisps of ghostly figures. Normally, no one is allowed inside the estate, but the editor of a magazine has paid what some would call a small fortune to get access for a journalist that you are supposed to play for. As soon as you arrive to the spooky place you meet a female ghost wearing a long sleeping gown. Nipping all ahead that will be almost the only one ghost who will be not trying to scare you up to death, but peacefully explain you that “an evil presence binds all of them to the place”. So as you might have already understood “them” infers that there will be many ghosts on the grounds. But what is this “evil presence” she mentioned? Why would she call it a “presence” and not a ghost? Could it be something more? The truth will probably set all of the ghosts free…
