Here's another great release to the genre of hidden object games. Dream
Sleuth is a game developed and published by NevoSoft for those who love
challenging puzzles wrapped up into a mysterious story. You get to do a good deed - to hepl find a missing girl. And
you are going to do that with the help of psychic dreams. The detective
isn't helping at all and your grandmother who is quite good at
investigations is not willing to help too.
The game combines hidden object levels, puzzles and point and click
adventures. Even though the ingredients sound familiar, the way they are
composed isn't like that at all.
The Hardy Boys: The Perfect Crime is one of the latest realeses into the hidden object genre. The game being developed by Trine Games and published by JoWood does have its pros and cons. The Hardy Boys – Nancy Drew's teen boy detective counterparts from the
books and TV series – are on summer break from school when they
encounter crimes happening around Baytown. The game breaks the story into chapters beginning with a missing motorcycle that must be found.
The game
comes with timed and untimed modes. Most of the game consists of finding hidden objects with some becoming
a key piece of evidence.
The hidden object game Righteous Kill 2: Revenge of the Poet Killer from Merscom/Starz Entertainment and Media Art continues
the story of Erica, an NYPD Detective who belongs to the specialized
Vigilante Unit. This time, she's on the trail of the Poet Killer, a
madman who enjoys leaving tantalizing notes behind at the scenes of his
crimes.
With 11 chapters each divided into several scenes to investigate, Righteous Kill 2 is a much longer game than its predecessor, which was criticized for being on the short side.
Cate West - The Velvet Keys is the sequel of a nice hidden object game. Developed and published by Gamenauts, the secont edition is just as full of mysteries as the previous game. A peculiar string of murders has the police baffled in Cate West: The Velvet Keys. Though clearly not alive, the bodies show no sign of foul play, and
aren't decaying the way three-day-old bodies should. Cate offers to use
her unique talent for seeing visions to help find a suspect, and
quickly discovers an ancient curse, a hidden crypt, and an old enemy
who may not be quite what he appears.
The fans of hidden object genre should pay atention to this new title
featuring traditional game play, diverse and creative mini-games and
quite a high level of challenge, combined with unique and appealing
graphics.
Alex, a former police officer, is absolutely tired of investigating only some trifle cases in his Affair Bureau. So when a mysterious woman comes to him leaving
her business card on his desk, he decides to find out who she is and
what she wants. There are also some twists in the game play, like the Crime Computer
where you'll look for info on suspects and learn some new facts.
