Love Story: The Way Home is another game from the Love Story series. The game is sweet and quiet and very pleasant, which is a change from the typical games of hidden object puzzle adventure games. Just before starting to this game, I was looking for a French dessert recipe on Saturday afternoon...this is the kind of a game that fit those things, you know? The story is very not dark at all, even though there are some bad things happening too and one of the main characters is an orphan trying to obtain her freedom and deal with the new circumstances. There's a little bit of love too (it has to match the title, right?). If you are a fan of stories like that and you have never played any games from the series, you might want to check them out too.
Order of the Rose takes us back to those games that are supposed to make us feel cooler this hot (at least for some of us) summer as we explore a horrifying story. This game offers a serial killer kind of story, which is a certain kind of a murder stories that most people enjoy a lot, but when it's in a HOPA game, story is just one of the aspects to make a game great. You play as a homicide detective whose job isn't easy this time around. You find one vicitim after another with some clues and puzzles about the killer. The guy is no doubt extremely smart and has thought this whole thing through. Not only do you need to be smarter than the killer, but also very careful. Otherwise you might become another victim not the detective who solved the case. There's another aspect of the story which includes Order of the Rose and a very important artifact. And that I leave to you to explore.
Now this is really a break form the typical hidden object puzzle adventure games. There's no murder to solve or evil to stop here. We are finally here for pleasure, not business! Big City Adventure: Tokyois a great escape to this far and beautiful place! But please don't think that you won't have to work here. And by saying work I, of course, mean the things you came here in the first place. So we could replace this word withfun. This game is another release in one of the hit series in this genre. If you don't know you travel to a new city in every release. This time it's obviously Tokyo.
Untold History: Descendant of the Sun Collector's Edition is a new release, but unfortunately, it doesn't offer anything new. Well, to make it sound better, it doesn't mean it is not enjoyable! It's just that we, those who stick to this genre, hear almost the same stories and play the same puzzle a lot. You have always thought that you were an orphan, and you really were, but you suddenly find out that you are a descendant of the Sun (and that means a lot in this game!). But again even though, you have the right to possess a super important artifact, you are about to lose it all to some form of evil.
Living Legends: Frozen Beauty Collector's Edition is a hidden object puzzle adventure game that will cool your day (in case you live in the places where summer is hot) with its story and puzzles. The game is bright and very enjoyable in the way the story is auido-visually presented. You are to meet two sisters, one of which was offered to be a queen's successor. You are still not sure if the offer is really what it sounds like. It's too good to be true but there's no obvious hints to danger yet. It is up to you to join your sister and discover the true intentions of the queen.
Off the Record: Linden Shades Collector's Edition is an absolutely stunning hidden object puzzle adventure game recently released. The game fits into the genre very well with its creepy ghostly story and beautifully detailed graphics and various puzzles. You play as a reported who is trying to find out as much information as possible about an old case in Linden Shades. Children in an orphanage began to see blood-red ghosts, and the only person who thought they were real was their principle. Anyways the place was covered with fear. Now, you have a chance to become an insider of the story and see the truth behind all of the events.
Attention! Attention! All the hidden object puzzles adventure genre fans, your help is needed to save a town. Once again you are to kind of stand between the worlds, or rather dimentions to save the day in Dark Dimensions: City of Ash. But you know you should expect it from almost every new release if you are really a fan of this genre. Your family has disappeared a while back in the past and you have been studying the area of dark dimentions hoping to find the anwers to your questions. And suddenly you find yourself in one of those dark dimentions where the citizens of a town in California are trapped. A vulcanic eruption caused that and you need to watch out for another eruption as you are trying to save the trapped souls.
The idea of apocalypse has been one of the most beloved theme among writers within the last centuries. House of 1000 Doors: Serpent Flame Collector's Edition is a newly released sequel in the game series that challenges you to stop the evil before the evil brings this world to the end. We have rescued individual people and the whole world from destruction quite a few times here in the hidden object puzzle adventure genre. This time around the evil takes a form of giant snakes that appear on all of the continents. But that's not all, you will have a timed travel (a-ha! Another favorite theme of many) to collect the elements that are required for a machine that can stop the snakes.
