Rocket Mania - Pipe Mania Puzzle for Your Palm
If you've ever dreamt of launching a rocket or firework, your dream may come true.
That is what you'll have to do while playing Rocket Mania. Astraware has developed it for PalmOS.
Everything's simple - rotate the tiles, join the fuses, launch the rockets...
The rules are very simple and the whole game can be controlled with the stylus alone. It'll take you a few minutes to understand the concept of the game and many days to get bored with it. In both game modes you have to rotate tiles so that they make fuses and link the matches on one side of the board with the rockets on the other side. That's how you launch the rockets!
There's a time limit and a required number of rockets to launch in Classic mode. Strategy mode you have a limited number of matches at your disposal.
In Classic mode you are limited only in time to launch the required number of rockets (see the upper left corner). The task may seem very easy at first sight, but, believe me, the game play is so fast that it will be a real challenge for you. Strategy mode is a bit more relaxed. Here you have a limited number of matches, so you have to use them wisely to launch as many rockets as you can. If you launch 3 or more rockets at a time you get extra matches.
Don't miss burning fuses with coins. It will give you extra points or time or matches.
Apart from creating fuses and lighting the rockets you should try to get as many points as possible. It's essential to get extra points by burning fuses where coins or gems appear.
There's also a clock face-like coin that can give extra time which is very helpful at higher point levels.
Both modes can be played as Easy, Medium and Hard. All along, you have complimentary sounds to keep you focused on the game.
There is a sound for each 90 degree rotation of a fuse, the rockets launch in a glorious whoosh when you complete a fuse and a nagging rooster alerts you that you are nearing then end of your allotted time.
You can play Rocket Mania for a long time because of the number of levels it has. And it won't be easy to get to the end.
Astraware has prepared a surprise for you. Fuses that are duds. If you don't connect them with other fuses and get off the board you can get limited in your ability to fire rockets.
