Seven Seas - Set Your Sail and Get Your Stylus!
Today we're showcasing a classy game for Palm that you can consider an oldie. But this one surely is a goldie. Seven Seas - a puzzle, initially developed for Windows and ported for Palm by Astraware(PalmOS 4 or later).
In terms of gameplay Seven Seas is a blend of classic BattleShip and Chess game.
So, the board is a grid consisting of cells that you are to move through on your ship. However, all other ships on the board belong to pirates who are attempting to catch and sink your vessel. Your point is to move your ship to the adjacent cells in all possible directions in order to sunk your opponents with bombs, make them collide each other or collide an island.
But be warned, if your opponents hit you by running into your cell, you will lose the level.
How can you do that? This is rather easy. You make your move and your foes perform theirs in order to get you.
When it's your turn to move, check if you can throw side bombs and hit the pirates. Click on the ship to begin bombing.
You can also work out a strategy to outwit the enemy.
This is how it looks: sail to an island or the place where one of the pirate ships sunk.
Those places are normally marked with skulls. Now start moving around the island, and your opponent (who's not that smart) will collide an island and sink.
As for the graphics of the game, it's easy and will be liked by the fans of retro-games.
Easy and simple game play makes you want to replay the game again and again.
