Antique Road Trip 2: Homecoming is a sequel of the hidden object game where you go to different places in search of different antiques and curios. The game is a real place of rest from all the mysterious stories that you usually come across in this genre. No creepy horror here. The game follows the story of a couple that is after the antiques. So there isn't that much of a story. You travel with them searching for the items that can fill your new store and make it one of the best antique stores. As mentioned before, the game is not a typical to the genre. You don't end up in a place where you would never want to find yourself in reality. The friendly atmosphere is evident in all the levels. There are two modes of the game - timed and untimed. But even the timed one is counts the time up and awards you bonuses for accomplishing the levels fast. |

The game is full of everything a decent game of this genre is supposed to have, which is a good thing. But it doesn't seem like the game does anything to stand out. He is you, and all of his adventures are opened before you. You will spend most of the time solving hidden object levels, but you will also get to solve the puzzles every once in a while. |

The story of the game is very typical to those in the genre of hidden object games. Your main character - young stunning girl - is an archeologist (in what universe do those two are mixed together?). During one of her expeditions she comes across a strange scroll, and now she is set to go and find out the secrets of Atlantis. Before this situation you are told the history of Atlantis in its really short version. The story suggests that Atlantis had the greatest library of those times with the answers to every question (I wonder if they had "42" among their answers). So now this young archeologist goes to her grandpa, who is a reknown researcher, for help on her journey. |

Then you get to play. The story tells you that there was a princes who slept for 100 years. Then she woke up, but didn't find anyone around. So now she is set to find out what's going on. Of course, there is no magic world without a witch in it, so you could expect that character to appear sooner or later. Anyways you are to help Sophia find the answers now. By the way the game suggests you that player's name, but you can change it if you don't want to. The game belongs to the popular hidden object/adventure genre. Most of the time you get to wonder around and interact with different items. The game is not an easy one.
