These village simulation series created by Last Day of Work have become so popular that now we meet the fifth sequel - Virtual Villagers 5: New Believers. Once again we are on the mysterious island called Isola. The story starts when a child discovers a lost mask on a forbidden path at the edge of the village. The elders gather to examine never seen mask and appoint a small group of villagers to search that path, which take them into the darkest part of the jungle. Unfortunately, they are captured and taken prisoners by faceless, non-believing natives. You play as a god trying to protect your little band on this beautiful island, to help them survive and develop, and to convert some of these heathens to your side in order to enlarge your tiny tribe. |

Summer Resort Mogul presents one of the most popular and desirable scenarios before you. And it is a two-fold scenario. One part of it is about you having a rich uncle that just died. Another one is that you are to work building a resort. Both aspects are equally attractive especially if you are a simulation genre fan. For you it is three-fold then. The game starts with you being told about the last will of your rish uncle. It happened that you and John are the only family of that person and you two are going to show which one of you deserves the company.

So there is the first game, and if you played it, you will notice a lot of similar things between the two. You start off by choosing a female and male character for the game. Then you get a short dialogue between the two which you had chosen. And from that dialogue you get that they are on their way to her dad, who might be in trouble now because of the snow storm. The dialogue stops as they fall from the bridge. There they can reach different buildings and items. There is a dog that joins them and is willing to help along the way. From that moment on you are going to accomplish different tasks given to you and play a few mini-games in between the major levels. |

HipSoft's popular game series have taken the real estate business idea and turned it into a fun way of spending your time. Every time you would be some kind of mogul in modern times with all the relevant attributes. This new release, Build a lot: Elizabethan Era, has turned things a bit backwards, but not in regard of quality or addiction. Even though the game does take you back in time when many things that are part of property management nowadays didn't even existed, you still get to do many similar things. Those include wise time, money, material management, making new contacts, giving a new life (with further revenue, right?) to old things. As to the building itself, you will get to build everything from simple structures of that time to great magnificent palaces. |

To be a king is not just what the game offers you to do, but it is rather what the games challenges you to do. You are to carry out everything this office might require, and that is not little. Be A King 2 is where you are to prove yourself for the position. Of course, you will take care of the prosperity and development and peace of the villages of your kingdom, but you will for sure also think about the protection of your people. The protection is needed because you are going to be attacked by hordes of monsters and groups of bandits, so towers will be a great option for a building to build. |

Kings Legacy is another game from Cateia Games. The game reminds the previous release, Shaman Odyssey, a lot. You are to help a young prince get the kingdom that was taken over by a king's brother. Here you're the prince who travels across the countryside helping people and reclaiming his kingdom one village at a time across 24 levels. |

Sim-like games will always draw people to themselves because all of us dream of controlling our life and sometimes other people's lives. Some honestly believe that it's possible, some don't but meanwhile there are also those who are actually experiencing it playing games like Jane's Realty 2. This strategy game from Realore Studios is very different from it's predecessor. The game covers about twenty-seven levels, each with its own completion goals. |
