Adventures of Robinson Crusoe - A Tale of Survival!
The immortal novel by Daniel Defoe has been given a new exciting life, now in the form of an
addictive hidden object game. Due to its engaging game play, eye-catching graphics,
challenging puzzles and nice background sound the game presents one of the most high quality
examples of HOGs in the current casual game market.
Love the story of Robinson Crusoe? Here is your chance to live through it by yourself.
As I already said, the game is based on the classic novel by Daniel Defoe, picturing the
life of Robinson Crusoe as the only survivor in a ship wreck. Leading his lonely life at a
desert island the misfortunate traveller makes his main goal to build a new boat for himself
to leave the inhospitable shore and reach his long-missed motherland. During this he'll
explore the whole island, meet one of his most faithful friends and... But, I guess, you
know the story, so there's no point in telling it here. If not - then I'll keep a bit of
intrigue for you to stay interested.
But I should say that even if you know the whole story you'll still stay interested during
the whole game, as it is very well balanced, and the game play is absolutely addictive. The
game is divided into 6 chapters, with 6 stages in each. Each chapter has a theme, like the
wrecked ship or Robinson's house, and several locations with different tasks.
Apart from traditional hidden object tasks where you have to look for a number of identical
items or for items listed in the left of the screen you'll also encounter some puzzle tasks.
The puzzles are diverse and creative, and I should also say quite challenging sometimes. For
example, you'll play a nice type of traditional piping game with flowers and roots or a
memory game with melody played on flutes. There is also a game where you have to remember
all the objects in a room and point to the new ones 15 times in a row. The variety of games
is amazing, and I did enjoy the puzzles. If you don't - you have an option to skip any of
them. There are also some items which can't be found without performing certain actions,
which adds even more challenge to the HO tasks. Such objects are given in blue font.
As usual, when you get stuck you can use hints, which are limited - but you can find
additional ones in form of numbers or inscriptions in the scene.
You can choose Relaxed or Survivor mode - and thus regulate the level of pressure in the
As I already said, not just theg ame play, but the visuals are also great in Adventures of
Robinson Crusoe. The genuinely stunning graphics are one of the features adding much value
to the title.
Can you survive on a desert island? Paly this game and you'll know the answer!
