Alexander the Great: Secrets of Power
Alexander the Great: Secrets of Power is a game with a story related to a great person in history. And the story claims to reveal the sectret of Alexander the Great's power. I wonder what woudl he say to this suggestion of how was he able to conquer so many countries.
You are going to spend most of the time in hidden object levels and puzzles.

So it turns out that you are a decendant of Alexander the Great. And you are to rescue the whole world now. The thing is that Alexanger the Great was so great because of some magical power in his crown, ring, and dagger. Those artifacts still exist, and sill have that power in them. If they get into the wrong hands, the whole world is in danger.
The story is accopanied wih some music and bright graphics. Music tends to become quite repetative after a while. The graphics are not stunning bu hey are pretty good.

You are going to spend most of the time in hidden object levels and puzzles. Both of which are quite challenging, which is nice and also adjustable by the two modes. The hidden object levels, though, might be that challenging due to dark, clutters, and blurry scenes.
There is a map and a hint button. You can rotate the scenes to be able to see more. You do not only travel to different modern locations, but also to the ancient ones to what it used to look like. So, there's a bit of time travelling.
The game is definitely worth your attention, but just be careful and try the free version first.

Just ate at Jui Thai Asian Cafe at 787 Bethel Road (the former loaoitcn of Lilly's) and they had a very interesting menu with none of the typical lunch special dishes. I had the Delicious Pork Cake ($3, very tasty) and the Hot Pot ($6) which had noodles, bok choi, napa, luncheon meat, quail egg, bean skin, and fish ball. The hot pot was saltier and more oily than I anticipated, but was delicious all the same. I plan to return with my family next week to try more dishes. |

Well, one thing that's pretty uuniqe to Columbus in the context of the midwest is the many great taco trucks. If you want to go it on your own, here's . You could also Jeni's is a must, as is the North Market and Short North area. You can explore on your own, or again German Village also has its fair share of restaurant institutions. I'd recommend G. Michaels and Skillet. Finally, . |
