Animal Agents - Special Force on the Vigil!
Animal Agents is a hidden object game that might remind you of such titles as Polly Pride: Pet Detective or Miss Teri Tale. And you would be right in this case - it does remind them. Such pet-related games are extremely popular nowadays, and I guess you won't mind having one more game of this kind to have fun. So, you are welcome to join the detective adventure of Justin and Anna in their effort to find all the missing pets in their neighbourhood.
Justin and Anna were looking forward to a vacation at the farm with their friend Sarah and all the pleasures of country life. But...
Surely, our heroes didn't get a single chance for quiet rest - one morning Sarah discovered that Fridolin, her pet rabbit, was missing. Later on it became clear that he was not the only pussy victim in the vicinity. Justin and Anna found some veeeeeeeery suspicious evidence and started their own investigation.
This is what the story of the game says. I would say nothing special, but the game can boast one wonderful feature - such a plot gives you a choice of whose adventure to follow. At the start of the game you select a game mode - Anna's Adventure, Justin's Adventure or Puzzle Mode - and if pass the game with one character, you have an opportunity to do it once more with another and discover his/her point of view. The Puzzle Mode lets you replay any location you have already visited as many times, as you wish.
The game play is also very traditional for hidden object games. You have to find items hidden in multiple pictures. But a distinguishing feature is that you may get your list of items to look for not only as a list of words, sketches or silhouettes, but also sounds. So be sure to turn on your speakers before starting to play.
As you might expect, you are given some "aids" to help you pass a level if you are stuck.
Most of them are found during the game in the form of police badges. Try to use them wisely, as they are rather scarce, as for me.
You also have a time limit for each level and an opportunity to move between locations on stages consisting of several of them. And you get a time penalty for random clicks.
Actually, I would say the game is a high quality instance of hidden object titles for all
fans of the genre. Surely worth trying.
