Art Detective - Sharpen Your Eyes

Art Detective is a new puzzle game developed by SoWhat! Software Studios and published by Big Fish Games. The game gets you into the world of masterpieces and numerous crimes commited all over the world.

The title of the game does give away much of the story behind the game. You play as a hundsome art detective who is addressed from all over the world to check the authenticity of the paintings.

He also collaborates with FBI in finding the criminals that steal the paintings leaving high-quality copies that are not even recognised as ones right away.

Most of the time you are to spend in find-the-difference games. Every once in a while you get messages from different places asking you to see if the painting is authentic.

How else can you do that if not by comparing the two? So you get two variants of the painting on the screen. The task is to find all of the differences. Some are very easy to find while the others take a very sharp eye like a small leaf.

Those who like everything that has to do with art will love this game. The paintings are very beautiful and an enjoying experience to deal with. The searching process may not be as much of fun though.

The game features three difficulty levels that make a difference in game play. 

The smallest details that are the hardest to find sometimes cause a problem and the hints are so slowly refilled. Plus too many clicks and you are forced to play all over again. That is quite surprising when you are informed about it for the first time with no warnings.

There are also some mini-games in between the levels with the paintings. Those can be matching games of different kinds or a game with chamicals. The game would be familiar for those who played Azada.
