Big Island Blends - Want A Smoothie?
The developers seem to never stop supplying us with diner dash games.
And that's not a problem at all. Big Island Blends is another serve-your-customers game from GameHouse.
Your dream of having your own restaurant comes true in this game. And you start your own stand serving smoothies at Big Island.
As the story at the very beginning tells you, you are informed that you get a fortune from your uncle. But quite soon you find out that the fortune is fruit orchards, which means that you need to take care somehow now of your new possessions. And guess with what way out you have ended up? That's right - you open your own business, restaurants. That's usually something you've always dreamt of in diner dash games. And so you start one, here it's actually a kind of a stand, not a restaurant, with only a glass making machine and a machine with different flavours of smoothies.
You have to take advantage of the fact that some things take quite a lot of time. If you work out a kind of a strategy, you can do them at the same time.
Your moves order isn't something extraordinary - you take an order, make a required glass, choose a required flavour, add something else if you have, serve the order, and get the pay. What's a bit irritating about the game is that the process of making glasses and filling them seem to take too long and the girl you play with isn't that fast. So take advantage of it in order to enjoy the game. Do other things, like take a new order while you need to wait for a glass to be made, for example. It means that when it's made, you can take the just made one and order the next one. Then you take the just made one to the machine to fill it and the next one is already being made for you. Then take a new order while the first glass is being filled in order to know what kind of glass to order when the second glass is ready.
There's a shop where you are offered to buy upgrades for your stand every level.
After every level, you are offered to buy something in a shop. You can buy additional machines or faster machines there. You can also buy faster flip-flops for you to move faster. There are also trays, mint leaf, orange wedge, whipped cream, flower for your smoothies to look better. One of the cheapest things you can buy is a bowl with food for a parrot that is always on the screen. The parrot will make and serve a drink for every bowl of food you buy for it. But remember that it will serve the first customer in the line not the one you may ergently need.
The game is divided into four places where you are to open a new stand. The first one will be opened at the Beach, the second one is in the Desert, and what are last two, I guess, you would like to find out yourself. One of the things I really enjoyed in Big Island Blends is the quality of graphics and the variety of customers. You are going to serve not only the boys and girls, but also mimes, pirates, and even mermaids.
Big Island Blends is a good pastime if you enjoy this type of games. Some other modes and more speed would make it a better one for me though.
