Build It! Miami Beach Resort -60 Years Of Building
The name of this new strategy game will give away a lot about what the game is all about. But be sure that Build It! Miami Beach Resort developed and published by Cerasus Media has some twists to surprise you.
You are to play as a young girl who suddenly gets an inheritence that changes her entire life.
Clair Parker is you character. Her uncle left her with a large amount of money and an impressive landholding.
There is a small condition to get all of it. She has to enter into the hotel business which isn't a big problem because that serves as a good opportunity to prove what she is capable of.
That is a start of the game of 60 levels each depicting the years of her business life. All of the 60 years are played on the same map. And you actually see the growth and development of the resort over time.
In each of the levels you have to finish a growing number of
construction tasks along with three goals. To complete any level in
expert time, which provides you with a nice amount of bonus money, you
have to fulfill all those goals and tasks before July 2nd, while you
have the whole year to just pass a level.
There are three different
groups of buildings, namely lodgings, leisure facilities, and
recreational facilities. Buildings affect each other, and to be quick
and successful you have to keep the number of those different buildings
very balanced. There
is always a strong relation between your income, the attractiveness of
your beach resort, and the number of buildings of each group.
The game itself reminds a time-management game more than a building simulation one since you have only one character to control and Clair is only one responsible for every task possible.
The game really is good and hopefully there will be a sequel to add more to the title.
