Build a lot: Elizabethan Era - Back In Time
HipSoft's popular game series have taken the real estate business
idea and turned it into a fun way of spending your time. Every time you
would be some kind of mogul in modern times with all the relevant
attributes.
This new release, Build a lot: Elizabethan Era, has turned things a bit backwards, but not in regard of quality or addiction.
The game play will be very familiar to those who have played the previous releases of the Build-a-lot series.
Even though the game
does take you back in time when many things that are part of property
management nowadays didn't even existed, you still get to do many
similar things.
Those
include wise time, money, material management, making new contacts,
giving a new life (with further revenue, right?) to old things. As to
the building itself, you will get to build everything from simple
structures of that time to great magnificent palaces.
Another
task of yours will be going around the settlements across England
trying to find ways to solve the problems over there. It would be better
if those would look more different rather than quite similar. Though
it is not like it is a great problem. You will have to build totally new
buildings as well as reconstruct the old ones that you can buy. In case
things go really bad, you can sell your buildings to get some money.
The
houses that you own give you regular rental income, so improving them
improves your income too. As you progress you unlock new structures to
build, like service buildings, construction buildings.
You will start with simple goals per level, like earning
a set amount of rent or total money,
building a set number of specific structures, and eliminating any
dilapidated buildings. You have enough time to complete those. But there
is a bonus for you if you do it the halfway mark on the time meter.
The difficulty level increases too as you move further into the game. Plus things like worker
sickness, famine, plague, drought, and building repairs also pop-up
when you least expect them. So be sure to be busy all along the way.
The game has everything to satisfy the fans of the series and also to please those new to the genre.
