One year of my time spent at the versity was wasted in front of pc. After classes at once after getting back home my roommate and I ...fried chicken like crazy. That was Chicken Invaders, some of the previous versions! How surprised I was I found out, they are still alive. Chicken Invaders 3. So, it was a great joy to taste the university years again...

 

Yet now the game looks more up-to-date and plus has got a Xmas flavor:). I treat it as a real travesty of super-trooper modern cosmic 3d odysseys.

  

Featuring eye-catching cosmic backgrounds. So, here's how the story begins...

 

Chickens who have been oppressed by people for centuries are now seeking revenge. They came out of nowhere, invaded the Earth and Solar System.

 

The first battle for Earth was won by people, but the second fight for galactic is yet to be fought. Put on teflon-coated, egg-repulsing helmet and try to oppress enraged birds.

  

So your main task is to save Solar system by confronting space chicken. You'll have to slice through the chicken defense fighting warlike birds.

 

Any collision with chickens is a threat to your life. Feathery cosmonauts are bombing you with eggs - once you are hit by it, your missile will explode. In your turn, you can make single shots or use continuous fire to destroy the yolks.

  

Once the stage is completed, you'll confront a chicken Boss - a space cock who can't be killed with single shot.

 

Besides, you'll have to make your way through snow cornices, flying sauces and other obstacles. You can either round or fight them - the main thing is to avoid collision with them.

 

Multiple bonuses are waiting for you. So be sure to grab tham momentarily.

 

You'll also be rewarded with surprise boxes containing different types of armor and coins scoring you extra points.  You are to catch all these power-ups with your missile.

 

To carry out the mission, one can choose among Rookie, Veteran or Superstar modes.

  

Use your mouse to play: move it left or right to navigate your missile correspondingly. Click a left mouse button for single shot or click and hold it down for continuous fire.

 

The game features smooth gameplay and cool graphics. It can be a good New Year and Christmas present for all shoot'em-up game fans. But, if you're used to nice little puzzles or "serious" game, I guess it's not the right thing. Yet, if you have a sense of humor, don't hesitate to play it. Helps take things easily.
