Christmas Lights - Frostwork on your monitor
One of the winter wonders is the frostwork covering the windows in winter. Unhackneyed sophisticated designs create festive Xmas mood and make everyone believe in miracle. This is probably what inspired the developers from Absolutist to create this state-of-art Christmas game.
So the main task of the game is to make up a picture out of broken pieces that you see on the playing field.
You see that a beautiful winter picture is broken to pieces that are constantly sparkling and changing the patterns inside. To form a solid picture, you have to match pieces of the same pattern. The piece which is to be matched is flashing, so click on it and match flashing fragment with the neighboring area.
So, the point here is just to wait until the time is right and the pattern inside a cell is just the same as that of adjacent ones and click on that cell promptly.
The frostwork you see on a playing field consists of different patterns which are rapidly changing. While a piece is flashing, be quick to choose the pattern which can be matched with a neighboring fragments and click on it.
Once you fail to match the frosting fragment, the picture you've already created is cracked.
When you make a wrong move, the mosaic you managed to match so far is broken.
Besides, the time for choosing the color and design of flashing piece is limited as well: if you fail to click on a flashing fragment for a limited period of time, you frostwork gets cracked.
But that means you can change your mind about a picture to make and start working on an absolutely new pattern.
As you proceed from level to level, your task is getting more and more complicated, as new colors and patterns are added to you playing field.
With every new level the colors of picture fragments are getting more bright, crude and bizarre while the patterns on fragments are more and more alike. They are changing really rapidly and now the picture reminds kaleidoscope of colors and patterns. So you have to be very attentive not to mach pieces of alike but not similar pattern.
I found Christmas Lights game really mesmerizing and addictive. A bit primitive at first sight, it gets more and more interesting as you proceed from level to level. As the gameplay gains momentum and new kaleidoscope pieces are added, you feel lost in time and in the world of bright mosaic picture. It really takes you away to Christmas fairy-tale!
