Crime Stories: Days of Vengeance 

Crime Stories: Days of Vengeance is a match-3 game for those who like the puzzle and a good dark story, which is not your typical combination for this genre. It is a mafia-filled city with an honest detective hungry for revenge.

The story has a unique Chicago atmosphere to it. 

The story reminds of Gotham and Detective James Gordon. Though it is in no way a retelling of that story. You play as Detective John. He is one of the honest guys in his field and has been that way since joining the police.

But it is not easy to be that way in a city run by the mafia. One day one of the mafia leaders attacks your family and after this, your heart and mind are filled with vengeance. One by one, the associates of Castello, the big mafia boss, are hunted down by you. The whole story is told over 8 chapters of the game.

The story has a unique Chicago atmosphere to it. You've got the police officer, the mafia people, jazz music in the background, and an honorable mission ahead of you. As you progress, you rid the city off of the mafia members and restore its buildings.

The actual match-3 game does not offer anything unusual or innovative. Just same old match-3 game! It is not very difficult, too - great for relaxed playing and beginners. Restoring buildings is not just for the story - you get power-ups for it, like a hummer or a grenade.

The match-3 part requires you to make matches of three or more. Gradually, you get more challenges to overcome to complete a level. But nothing new - you destroy crates and bread chains just like in many match-3 games before. All this fun lasts 95 levels. You can choose whether you want to play timed or untimed mode.
