Dark Alleys: Penumbra Motel is a newly released adventure game. The is a bit different in the way the gameplay parts flow. The story is one of the most loved by the game developers is presented by real actors and very good voice over.

The fans of the hidden object puzzle adventure genre will appreciate the way the game flows without this particular division into the three main areas.

Even though we all love the movies about deserted towns when people disappear and secrets from the past become so realistic. The same attraction happens with the games that tell you the same story. 

In this game your friend's daughter goes missing as you she goes into a store to buy snacks in some town you go through. Now you are forced not only to stay and find her, but also to unravel the mysteries of the past.

The graphics of the game are definitely not its strongest aspect. Nevertheless, they are pretty decent and dark. The sounds and music creats this perfectly creepy atmosphere. And the voice over together with the real actors make it seem more real.

The game is not a typical hidden object game with a little bit of puzzles and wandering from one place to another. You do have to find some objects, but it's more like a part of the general adventure.

Even though it moght seem not challenging enough for some players, it really is full of content.
