Dark Tales: Edgar Allan Poe's Lenore Collector's Edition

The Dark Tales series is one of the hit names in the hidden object puzzle adventure genre. ERS Game Studios have recently released a new addition to the series, Dark Tales: Edgar Allan Poe’s Lenore Collector’s Edition. It is a great game with a wonderful story!

You know that the story is going to be interesting (it is Edgar Allan Poe!) and you can be sure that the presentation is just as wonderful. 

Yet another adventure with Dupin! You are to solve another mystery with this detective. He is summoned by a town’s mayor to find out who is behind the kidnappings that have plagued the place. It does not take you a lot of time to learn about a strange sect in town, Crows League and its likely ties to the missing children.

But the story is more complicated than that. You also learn about the involvement of mayor’s son with this group and his fiancé with a dark past. There are many details for you to investigate as you proceed in the story and in the game.  The game features a bonus chapter where you get to solve yet another mystery!

You know that the story is going to be interesting (it is Edgar Allan Poe!) and you can be sure that the presentation is just as wonderful. The places and characters look and sound great! A lot of artistic work has been put into this game.

It features four modes of difficulty including a Custom mode and adjustable hints and skips (5 to 200 seconds). All the activities of this game are cleverly mixed to keep you jumping from one thing to another without getting bored. No helpers for you in this release – you are on your own!

You are given a map in the game and you can use a strategy guide if you need it. The hidden object scenes are very well thought through. Hidden object scenes come in different forms and difficulty levels. Some are more simple and easy, others are more complicated multi-step and challenging.f

Puzzles are another big part of the game and they do not disappoint. They are well designed and will please those who love solving puzzles. There are a few more things that you need to focus on to enjoy the game fully. There are morphing objects you need to pay attention to. There are collectible feathers. There are 16 achievements to earn.
