Explorer: Contraband Mystery - Uncover The Story
So many times I watched National Geographic programs and thought how lucky are those whose job is actually is about traveling and working with animals and doing all kinds of stuff that we can only watch on TV.
Well now is the time for people like me. Explorer: Contraband Mystery is a new hidden object game where you actually work as an explorer for National Geographic following the smuggling trail.
Three missions are awaiting for you to accomplish.
The graphics and the audio is totally great. Going to different locations you get to see beautiful sights.
The hidden object levels are not all that challenging but sometimes the items are so small or blended into the background way to well. Most of the time you won't have troubles with finding the items. But if you still have any there is a hint button to help you recharging approximately every 45 seconds.
The mini-games are very simple most of the time. One of the mini-games was a puzzle where you swap and rotate the pieces.
Each piece has to be moved to its proper place and rotated to the right
orientation before it will lock into place.
As to the mini-games, there is a skip button if you don't want to finish it or play at all.
You can play in timed or untimed mode and without the custom cursor. The
game will not save in the middle of a scene or mini-game; you go back
to the beginning of the scene or mini-game when you restart the game.
The game is not that innovative and addictive. The TV films and magazines might just remain the strength of NatGeo. Though some may still enjoy the game as the one that you can play for a change.
A trial version is always a good thing before buying any game and this one especially.
