Fairway Solitaire -Golfing Through Solitaire
At first look solitaire and golf don't have much in common at all.
Nevertheless Big Fish Games and Grey Alien Games managed to combine both somehow in Fairway Solitaire.
You are to use all the cards in the pile in order to complete the level or what is called the "hole" here.
So the story tells you that you are trying to make your way to golf Grand Champion and you do that by playing solitaire game.
The game itself is pretty easy. There's a card at the bottom of the board and you are to click on the cards one number higher or lower among those that are just before you.
Suites don't matter here. In case you are out of cards to click use the draw pile to deal a new card.
The level or rather the "hole" is complete once you've used up all the cards in the pile.
Try to do the best score you can in order to have more cash and be able to buy upgrades in the golf shop.
In order to get the perfect score you need to clear all the cards on the board.
So try to work out a kind of a strategy. The "Mulligan" button can be helpful here because it undoes your moves.
Why do you need all the cash that you can get? You can go to golf shop and spend it on all kinds of clothes and accessories.
And why do you need that stuff? Because it helps you in the game but of course it does cost quite a sum of money. For example, a blouse at $5,000 gives you an extra Mulligan for each hole.
The game has also sand and water traps and wild shots to offer.
There are also so called water and sand traps and wild shots in the game to make it more fun for you.
How you deal with them? In order to go through the sand trap you are to find first a card buried under the layout.
And in the water traps, you need to clear the adjacent pile completely.
The wild shots are something that adds flavour to the game.
You can skip them and get a penalty for that. You can also get through the challenge but there is no assurance what you will get. These are different situations that can happen with a golfer. They either make your situation better or you lose something.
