Feeding Frenzy 2: Fish-Eat-Fish Arcade

 

Game plot. You've got a wonderful chance to participate in the underwater evolution and start from scratch. With your help, a tiny fish is to grow up and turn into a huge and fat monster fish. Of course, making career, even undersea, is not that easy, that's why you'll have to work hard avoiding and fleeing from the bigger fish striving to gobble you. And, needless to say, you've got to eat the smaller fishes. That's life.

Your way is marked on the map with the points. Just like in its prequel,

 

there are two types of levels in Feeding Frenzy 2: common ones, where you are required to fight for your life and eat smaller fish, and bonus levels, less complicated.    

 

In bonus levels the point is to collect the required number of bonuses at a limited time.

 

Game rules. Use you right mouse button to control your fish.

 

Each level can be divided into three stages: first you've got to eat tiny-minute fishes and flee from the bigger ones.

  

As you grow bigger, you can eventually eat every kind of fish on the current level.  

 

  

With each level you face bigger fish, while the smaller fishes that you are to eat move faster. Thus, each level is more difficult to win.        

 

Though you are stronly recommended to avoid the big fish, at times you can take a risk and byte its tail. 

  

Don't forget to grab useful bonuses, that will earn you more score and help you grow faster. Such as pearls hiding inside the chests that open from time to time or bubbles moving upwards and concealing a precious extra life.

 

In the latest version of the game you can play in coral reefs, inside the sunken ships and even out of the water. New feature of Feeding Frenzy 2 that we noticed:  you can jump out of the water and swallow small insects, which will bring you more score as well.

 

Don't forget to grab as much bonuses as possible in the bonus levels.

Game Pros. Quality graphics and music, a large map with 60 locations. Quick arcade pace and funny idea.

 

Game Cons. Me, I find this game a bit monotonous, as it is all about gobbling.

  

 ...Moreover, in my humble opinion, the graphics of the previous version of Feeding Frenzy was more live and bright while in the latest version it seems a bit duller. But judging from other reviews on the web, this game became pretty popular with players.
