Ghosts of the Past: Bones of Meadows Town Collector's Edition
Here’s a cool hidden object puzzle adventure game - Ghosts of the Past: Bones of Meadows Collector's Edition. You are a new sheriff in a small town somewhere in the MidWest and things aren’t quite right.
My favorite mini-game was one where you have to put stuff into a scene with a man sitting on a bench.
The weather’s funky, people are dying off left and right, and we’ve got a ghost infestation to deal with. You and your deputy are responsible for figuring out what’s going on here, and hopefully restore peace to this town that’s starting to fall apart.
It has a real Hollywood feel to it. There’s lots of mid-century furniture and even a classic cork board with pictures and strings and pushpins like you see in the cool detective movies. Fingerprint games, zippo lighters, it’s really cool!
My favorite mini-game was one where you have to put stuff into a scene with a man sitting on a bench. It’s like pin the tail on the donkey, only with a derelict trying to sleep. There’s also a Viking motif with a game involving runes. I can tell that this is going to turn into a series, so I’d recommend playing this game and seeing what follows.
The collector’s edition includes a bonus chapter that lets you explore the lands of the gods. There’s also a Viking rune collectable that lets you locate and then decode them. If you’re a fan of Norse mythology, then this bonus is definitely for you!
There’s a soundtrack, art, wallpapers, and a strategy guide (most collector’s editions come with the art and guide, but the collectables and bonus game really stand out).
