Go-Go Gourmet was the first game to combine time-management and hidden object game play. Go-Go Gourmet 2: Chef of the Year continue the tradition, adding even more value to the game you liked so much.

This time the developers offer you together with Ginger, the young and talented chef, to take part in the Chef of the Year contest that will take part in 7 countries and gather the best cooks from all over the world.

After several rounds in each of the locations, where you'll master the dishes of the national cuisine, one of the contestants with the poorest performance will be eliminated. Make sure it's not you!

In order to do this you'll have to please the judges with the quality of your work and get one of the first three positions in each level. Otherwise the round will have to be
replayed. During the level the judges appear one by one on your screen, and you have to cook each of the dishes as soon as possible in order to earn the maximum points. In order to cook a dish you first have to find all the necessary ingredients for each step, then process them as needed (you can use frying pans for frying, grilling, etc., boiling pans for boiling and simmering, the oven for baking and the kitchen processor for grating, chopping, grinding and all other similar operations). You can switch between orders to deal with them simultaneously. After an order is ready press delivery button to get finished with it.

Tip: try to choose ingredients situated next to each other first. This will save you a couple of seconds.

As you move through the level you have an opportunity to watch your progress as compared to your competitors. It will let you know when you can relax a bi and when you have to add some speed.

If you are smart enough with certain dishes some ofthe judges will give you bonuses, such as time freezing, which are quite useful, espacially on later levels.

There are also bonus rounds. I would say that is "Find the differences" vice versa. Your task here is to make the two pictures similar by placing ingredients to the necessary locations.

Besides the basic game play you also have a couple of great features. Those are Ginger's room and cook Book. When you finish a level with the first position you are usually awarded with a unique cooking costume, and in Ginger's room you ay choose any of the outfits for your heroine to wear. And the Cook Book contains the recipes for all the mouthwatering dishes you have already mastered.
