Haunted Hotel: The Thirteenth Collector's Edition

Well... it didn't last long... Though you die early in this game, it doesn't have to stop there! This new release from Elephant Games, Haunted Hotel: The Thirteenth Collector's Edition, is going to put you on your toes as you are trying to discover the dark secrets behind what's happening with your family.

Your family is a long time rival of another family over infinite life.

The first thing that happens to you in this game is death, but don't worry - you continue as a ghost. A stranger that needed help on a side of a road turned out to be a killer. And having killed you he kidnaps your son and takes him to an old hotel. As you follow them both, you discover that it was a setup. Someone was after you and your son. This is when you begin to learn some new things about your family and its enemies and your role in all of this.

Your family is a long time rival of another family over infinite life. They were successful enough to find and ancient artifact. It became a problem when they couldn't decide how exactly they were going to use it. They parted their ways in went in the opposite directions. One chose light, the other chose darkness.

The other family has been killing members of your family for a while now and your son would be the last one they need for their evil plan. It is up to you to stop them and their evil plans. The game's graphics are gorgeous. Dark and creepy at times, but good. The scenes are very detailed and the music and sounds make them come alive. 

The game features four modes of difficulty including a custom one. If you are more experienced in this genre, you might want to choose the the Hardcore one and adjust the hints and skips accordingly because the game might seem too easy overall. This collector's edition offers achievements and collectibles (20 jewels and 12 portraits), morphing objects (20), replayable hidden objects scenes and mini-games, and of course a lot of media extras for download. 

Haunted Hotel: The Thirteenth Collector's Edition is a well-paced hidden object puzzle adventure game that will make you want to see the end of the story.
