Hidden Secrets: The Nightmare - Making Your Brains Work Hard
Hidden Secrets: The Nightmare - is a mysterious
game that gets you into the subconsciousness of the main character of the game.
You are to travel to different places nad solve tons of puzzles to find out who attacked her.
The desire to find out the end of the story is one of the things to keep
you playing it till the end.
In the very beginning of the game you get a piece of the story in which
a family wins something in a scratch ticket. The mother lets her husband know
that and after that someone attacks her right before she is to meet with her
friend.
The next thing that you see is the hospital ceiling lights. After that
she falls into coma and her soul is actually wondering in different places
trying to bring her memory back.
Step by step she picks up some facts that make
the picture full and you find out who attacked her.
Another thing to keep you playing it is the puzzles that are included
into every level.
In every place you are to visit, you will have to find some of the clues
or use them somehow in order to get the next piece of information.
Having done
that, you are to solve one of the puzzles. And these puzzles are just crazy
sometimes. They are not typical at all.
Some of them will just make your brains
boil. For example, you have six sticks put in holes of a wooden thing. It's a
toy. Three of them are blue and three - red. There's a hole in between and your
task is to bring the colors into the opposite ends. The stick can jump over the
stick of the opposite color only or get into the adjacent hole but they don't
move backwards.
It isn't that clear in words, but try it and you'll see what
I'm talking about. The total number of the puzzles is 30. You have them all on
the main menu and can play anytime you want.
There's also an opportunity to
skip the puzzles but you have only a few skips so you'd better keep them for something
really hard.
The game is definitely good with all it has to offer: really great
graphics, superb sounds, mega challenging mini-games and a stunning story.
