In this version, the main character, a solo sailor Mina, was caught by a sever storm somewhere in the South Pacific. She survived waking up at the shore of an isolated island.

 

Mina is determined to get away from the island but first she needs to explore it and unlock its mysteries.

 

In this sequel of the classic the island is assumed to have never been destroyed and is still uncharted and uninhabited. Those familiar with the book will be surprised to visit the famous locations like the Granite House, the windmill, and the legendary submarine Nautilus.

 

The game is about person's strong will to survive in whatever circumstances.

 

In this game you are not to get as much points as possible or to do something as quick as possible but to see how you can survive being out of your comfort zone.

 

Mina wakes up exhausted and tired. So your first task is to find something to eat for her, like eggs, and something to make a fire.

 

Be observant in every place you go to because almost every screen has something for Mina's inventory.

 

After a while Mina finds and tames a monkey that soon becomes her only friend on the island. The monkey can be used to get some things that are out of Mina's reach.

 

Creative thinking is a requirement for playing this game for sure.

 

The puzzles are built into the storyline very well, and they are very realistic.

 

What makes the game a real fun is that there are several ways to solve the puzzle.

 

The wide choice of the ways to solve a problem allows you to pick and choose paths through the game.

 

In case you feel stuck the item descriptions provide with quite a lot of hints and give an idea of what you are supposed to be doing.

 

So use it anytime it's possible. One of the challenges in the game is to understand how you are to combine the inventory you have to get what you need.

 

The inventory interface features a construction area where the player is to combine the items to create something. There are also puzzles that will give you a break from the inventory-based challenges, like to decode two passwords or reroute the electricity to a device by using different switches.
