Supermarket Management - Sales Can Be Creative!
Welcome to Supermarket Management, a game in time-management genre that, though presenting
nothing special in the terms of theme (running a supermarket, yeah) or game play (good old
time-management) still stands out of all the other title of the kind by its really funny and
beautiful graphics and diversity of tasks to fulfill.
Need a job? Apply your abilities everywhere you can!
Kate has just finished college and is going to look for her first serious job when she gets
to a traffic jam. Not wishing to waste time, she solves the problem very fast, directing
everyone whether they need to go, and thus draws the attention of Bob Bossovich, the owner
of a newly-opened supermarket who is at the moment looking for a person to help him manage
this enterprise. No need to say that Kate grabs the chance and happily takes the offered
job. But, as she is a very creative girl devoted to her work, every several days she has
some new ideas about improving the efficience and range of services in the store.
You start playing from some very simple tasks like filling the counters with goods, giving
carts to customers at the entrance, collecting payment at the cash-desk and leading
customers to the products they need if they got lost. For each level you'll have a goal
consisting of two parts - minimum profit and required number of served customers. Once you
reach them both you'll be notified, of course, but you'll still have to serve all the others
before you complete the level.
The faster you give your customers what they need - the happier they will be. And the
happier they are - the more coins for upgrades you will gain. You will also get coins for
completing levels in Expert time. All of them can be used for buying additional carts,
increasing Kate's speed, extending counters and even hiring additional staff to help you
with some routine, like a cashier or an assistant in the Products by Weight department.
Products by Weight, as Cakes or Special Promotions, is one of Kate's brilliant ideas - and
additional tasks that appear in the game every several levels. For example, when a customer
wants a cake, a pop-up comes out where you have to click on the necessary dessert in a
moving row of them. Other activities also require your attention and make the game play
extremely diverse so that you never get bored.
Apart from the game play that keeps you guessing what comes next all the time I must mention
the graphics of Supermarket Management. The main heroine is truly beautiful, and the faces
and emotions on them are so different and all funny that sometimes I caught myself watching
the Granny smiling and not clicking on the product she needs.
But you have to see it all with your own eyes to decide. Who is up to try Supermarket
Management?
