The Theatre of Shadows: As You Wish

This newly released hidden object puzzle adventure game is another chance bfor you to save the world from evil (if only it were so easy in the real world or even possible). The Theatre of Shadows: As You Wish is a highly polished in almost all of its aspects game. You will truly enjoy it from start to end.

 

 

There is an interactive map and task list to direct you. The hint systems serves that purose well, too.

 

You are to play as Hunter of Darkness, whose job is to travel the world to the places where evil invades. His ring leads him to the Theatre of Shadows. There he meets the owner of the theatre, Donna, whose husband, Nicholas, is possessed by a dark force that came from a magic shadow puppet. Your task is to rescue Nichlas from this evil force before it is too late and this force releases more of the evil spirits.

 

The graphics and the absence of voice overs is a surprising disappointments of the game. The cutscenes are not totally terrible, but quite blurry at times.

 

There is no voice over for those who find that feature important. The puppets, though,  create very cpeepy atosphere, so it is not too bad. But the game in general is very good. There is a great emphasis on the adventure with interactive hidden object scenes.

 

The mini-games and puzzles are quite unique and thoroughly designed to challenge the greay cells. The game offers a great level of challenge which hard core players will appreciate. But if you are not one of those, you can choose one of the three modes according to your HOPA game skills. There is an interactive map and task list to direct you. The hint systems serves that purose well, too.

 

The game is not perfect, but it is very good and can keep you entertained for hours.
