The Three Musketeers: D'Artagnan and the 12 Jewels
This new release into the hidden object genre is for the fans of this particular kind of puzzles. The game is full of the searches for you to complete. The Three Musketeers: D'Artagnan and the 12 Jewels is a story of saving the queen of France from dishonor.
You will have to go to many different locations and meet all kinds of characters on your way.
This game follows the well-known story of brave musketeers that were asked to do a favor for the queen by finding the diamonds. You will have to go to many different locations and meet all kinds of characters on your way. Those characters will often keep you from accomplishing your mission.
The story is quite detailed and takes up a big part of the game, but most of the characters are just sillhuettes that appear on the screen and create many dialogues that you have to read. The game gives many general instructions that you have to read too.
One other thing that I hate to run into in games is when you get many instructions or dialogues to read, but the only way to change the screen is to click the special button in stead of just clicking anywhere on the screen. It is a tiny little flaw, but so irritating.
The game features all kinds of hidden object levels. You can expect to see here every search you can think of: list of items, a number of the same item, sillhuettes of items, etc... There are also different puzzles you get to play as you proceed. The game does seems a bit borring without actual story to impress your eyes and more parts of the game to impress your mind.
The game might be a nice way to kill a few hours for the fans of the genre though.
