Treasures of the Ancient Cavern - In Search of Treasures

 

Treasures of the Ancient Cavern is a match-three game developed and published by Divo Games. The game itself doesn't contribute lots of innovative ideas to the genre.

 

But it is still one of those that are full of everything possible to make up a good matching game.

 

 

You are going to travel to different places in order to collect the ancient artefacts so that you could find the great treasures.

 

The story of the game isn't one-of-a-kind at all. You are in search of the treasures that are told to be worthy of the journey.

 

You travel from one location to another on your map. In every level you get into a beautifully pictured location. The graphics of the game are absolutely attractive with great sounds that fit the picture.

 

The task for every level is to clear the board from the colored tiles. The squares of the grid contain different pieces of jewellery like emeralds or sceptres.

 

As you match three or more tiles with the same items, they disappear. Then the next set of the pieces of the jewellery fall into the empty squares.

 

There are lots of power-ups in the game to help you clear the board faster.

 

In between the levels you can buy or upgrade some of the rune power-ups. Those are very helpful in clearing the board.

 

You can destroy the whole section or swap several tiles. As you can see it's not like the game isn't full of all the stuff to make it challenging and addictive.

 

It just lacks some kind of uniqueness. But maybe that wasn't the case for the developers.

 

And I guess the fans of the genre will appreciate all the work done. Treasures of the Ancient Cavern can definitely be considered a neat matching game.
