Tri_Peaks_2Tri-Peaks 2: Quest for the Ruby Ring - Good Luck Required

Tri-Peaks 2: Quest for the Ruby Ring, developed and published by Pogo is a new release for the solitaire games fans. The game offers tons of pleasure for them because the result often depends on the luck not on the skills making the game a bit longer than you may expect. But it anly makes it more fun, right?

You are to travel through different places like India, Easter Island, China in search for the ancient cursed ring.

Tri_Peaks_2 The game begins with introducing you to the story in a news-paper cartoon. There are not a lot of text to read. You meet Tex and Ally Carter who start for the adventure searching for the cursed ring.

Your first destination is India. The game mechanics are pretty simple, but don't expect it to be easy. You get a layout with only the bottom cards shown.

Then there are cards in the pile at the bottom and the foundation cards. You play by adding new cards to the foundation card either from the layout above or from the pile on the left.

Your task is to get rid of all the cards on the layout. As you start use the open bottom ones, the new cards get revealed to you.

All you need to do is to find a card on the layout that would be one value lower or higher that the foundation card. If you don't have any you go to pile in the left.

Everything seems to be pretty simple but you never know what you are going to get. And sometimes things get a bit frustrating when you get almost to the end with really good chances. But then you just can't find a card in order to use the last one on the layout. Even one card left means you have to play the level all over again.

The background represent the place you are staying in. The graphics are great. You can also see your character at the top al the way. You'd better play well if you don't want him to suffer.

Tri_Peaks_2You can always see your characters playing cards. For example, Tex is always at the ver top of the screen. The chests represent all of his goals for the level. But getting close to any takes overcoming the challenge.

The challenge can be freezing gas or fireball or net. Eerytime you lose, Tex loses. Once you win, Tex overcoms the challenge.

Every once in a while you are to resque Ally. You can see her trapped and the task for you. For example, to set her free by clearing 5 piles of cards within 3 minutes.

The monkey on the right gets higher when you clear the cards from the layout and gets back down when you use the pile on the right.

The game is very addictive and entertianing both for the fans of the genre and for those who are going to become ones.
