Victorian Mysteries: Woman in White

Victorian Mysteries Woman In White CoverThe White Lady legends are found around the world. According to some of them everything is about a woman that lost her beloved or was betrayed by a husband or fiancé, due to the others she is supposed to have died or suffered trauma in life. In any case the woman in white is cloaked in mystery. She knows about countless riches and mostly is of ill omen. The legend goes back to the Victorian times, that is why there is no surprise that a new hidden object game Victorian Mysteries: Woman in White offers you to explore the Victorian mansions to reveal the secrets of an enigmatic Lady.

Victorian Mystery Woman In White HOGThe game plot is based on the detective story by Wilkie Collins. The game is a continuation of the series, started with Mystery Masterpiece: The Moonstone. As in the novel the story is about penniless drawing teacher, Walter Hartright, who was employed by Fairlie family. He is your conductor through all the darkness and the mystery of England in 19th century that is perfectly depicted in the game. The graphics are marvelous. Though it is a little bit too gloomy, it is clear and allows you to feel the atmosphere of the situation “there might be a ghost around the corner” in full. The music completes. If you play late in the evening being alone in a big house, be sure to quiver all night long then. Because the game is pretty good at creating the proper mood.

The graphics allow you to feel the atmosphere of the situation “there might be a ghost around the corner” in full.

Victorian Mystery Woman In White PuzzleBack on topic of the plot, while teaching Walter little by little gets the feel of an old mansion. The job goes well and the future seems finally sunny as suddenly you run into a woman dressed in white who seems to know a lot about the Fairlies. Being confounded about the woman you start your own investigation in the center of which one of your students Laura Fairlie is found.

The gameplay in Woman in White is typical for a hidden object adventure game. And that is not at all bad. You're provided with a variety of locations, zoom-options to interact with the objects and many other things that the adventure-fan is already used to. Besides your character  has a journal which contains all the clues that you as a player have compiled so far, as well as biographies and a family tree of all the characters your hero meets on his way.

Victorian Mysteries Woman In White Potion There are two modes in the game so that everyone can choose the level of complicacy. Depending on the mode you choose at the start of the game, the "objects of interest" in each scene will either be highlighted to make it easier for you, or unmarked so that you have to figure out which items might be important to your investigations. But this is not the only thing about the hint-system. If you pause for too long when you encounter a new puzzle, the you'll get some hints on what you are supposed to do. And if you are still stuck after that, you're welcome to use "skip" button. As for the puzzles they are really worthwhile but not some simple  memory matching games. As for example you'll need to match newspaper articles... and these articles also happen to be liners for a bird cage!

If you ever thought of yourself as a plausible Sherlock Holmes,  Victorian Mysteries: Woman in White is a proper chance to prove that!

WOW! What a fabulous post. I adoerd the way you didn't make it so confusing for the reader to uderstand every word written in a blink. You might be suspisciously wondering who I am and why on earth I am interested in your blog. Well first of all I have a the most biggest right to tell you about who I am because once you read this hopefully tremendous comment you will uderstand every little detail written and I think this blog is beautiful! Although these two reason have nothing to do with my enormous point ( and how shocked you will be when you here it!) So here goes. Be prepared for a bucket load of stupendousness or an early surprise ( before Christms of course!)Now I'm sure that everyone loves a bit of a biography (especially from me.) So, my name is Sharon and I have a bit of an angelic ( but hectic) life. I mean, once you have finished reading this everlasting comment you will regret ever having a better life than me. Anyway, apparently I have heard something that might be excrutiatingly painful to some and a blessing to others. Now Chortlan Park have lost something very valuable. Mr SLOAN!! And I guarantee there was a waterfull of tears sheded. However your loss is my gain for when Mr Sloan left Manchester he approached the outstanding and hectic city known to human civilization. Yes LONDON! He had probably came to the most stunning schoool in the galaxy. FERRY LANE!! That was the moment that I knew that a new generation would be welcomed into Ferrry Lane. Because I go to FERRY LANE! And guess what, I was correct. Now before I start you make you jealous and furious please be aware that this mini speech about Mr Sloan may give you jealousyitis which can lead to police knockig at your door especislly for Chorltan Park students.Mr Sloan could not have been any more perfect than he already is. He has given a sparkle of joy in my childhood and now for the first time in the history of my life have EVER been so delighted to be at Ferry Lane. Mr Sloan has a voice better than an angel, it brings an enormous smile to every child in the world's faces and I just can't wait to go to schooland I just thank him so much for having such a pleasurable! And because of Mr Sloan school will be heaven for eternity ( I mean it!) School is a mixture of joy, fun, work and SINGING!! It is a bit like a celebrity school ( not that I like to brag) Although sometimes it can be a bit of a rollacoster ride. I know that sometimes school can be a bit of a sulk but you've just got to be greatful for what you have. Now back to Manchester. I have never been to Manchester so I haven't the foggiest idea what it's like there. So I would really like to know how it is. What is school like? Do you ever miss Mr Sloan ( of course you do!) Well I hope you have learnt a bit about my life and I hope can learn about you!
