Agatha Christie: 4:50 from Paddington is a hidden object game, which has you play as Miss Jane Marple, the remarkable detective for which no mystery is too difficult to solve. The plot surrounds what Elspeth McGillicuddy witnessed one night when she was traveling through the English countryside - yes, a murder was glimpsed by Mrs. McGillicuddy through the window of a passing train! Only her good friend Jane could possibly help to unravel that mystery. Who did it and why? The game has good graphics, it puts your right back into the atmosphere of old countryside England. The train carriages seem authentic, and Paddington train station reminds of days long gone past.
Dream Chronicles: The Book of Air is the fourth game in the Dream
Chronicles series and the first one in a new trilogy of games from PlayFirst. It is time for the new generation to take up their place in the story. Talking about the new generation I mean
Lyra, Faye's half-fairy daughter. Lyra is 18 year old now, and she got into trouble. The game
starts with her disappearing and reappearing in anther place, a town of
Wish to be specific. Her grandfather is the only one who is able to help her sending some
notes. But it seams to her that the only way for her to escape that
other dimension and get back is to find someone known as Clockmaster.
Some things just make you feel good. Like a favourite pair of jeans or a
cup of coffee. Gardenscapes is quite one of those. The graphics
look cute, the story opens a nice place for you in it, the levels
feature attractive challenge. It happens mostly in the games and movies.
You think about it, and here you go, life serves it to you. The begins
with you thinking about living closer to the nature and farther from the
city dust. The next thing you know is you inherit a manson with a great
garden, and you need to go there right now. When you arrive you meet a
butler Austin who will gladly show you around and tell what to do. The
garden that was once a beautiful place is now all out of order. And it
is now your responsability to bring it to its new glory. There's an easy
way to do that. You throws sales and the money that you get from those
sales go on the updates of the garden.
For those who enjoyed Puppet Show Mystery of Joyville there is
another part of this magnificent Hidden Object series with puppet-themed
adventures: Puppet Show: Souls of the Innocent by Ers Game
Studios. Like its predecessor, this sequel stands out for its
quality and fascination among recent hidden object novelties. This one
actually has almost the same components as the previous hit but I would
define the game as not only significantly improved but in general just
of a much better quality. That becomes very obvious after a few minutes
of playing for any gamer whether you are a newcomer or a guru of the
genre.
Kings Legacy is another game from Cateia
Games. The game reminds the previous release, Shaman Odyssey, a
lot. You are to help a young prince get the kingdom that was taken over by a
king's brother.
Here you're the prince who travels across the
countryside
helping people and reclaiming his kingdom one village at a time across
24 levels.
