Crossing the t's and dotting the i's: July 2007
Summer moves on and another month is behind. It's time for us to showcase the greatest events in gaming in our monthly Crossing the T's column.
So, if you remember, June was extremely fruitful month in terms of a great number of game hits released. (See our previous article in the same column).
But July seems to be as fruitful. Let's see what great games were released last month:
Miss Management
The Stone of Destiny
Dream Day Honeymoon
Turbo Pizza
Dream Chronicles
Daycare Nightmare
Mortimer Beckett: and the Secret of the Spooky Manor
Mystery P.I. - The Lottery Ticket
Of course, everybody is free to add his/her own favorites to this list or cross out the titles that in your opinion are not worth mentioning. But our poll is still on, and you're welcome to vote for the most quality and addictive title released in July.
Not only game fans had lots of good news. This July is marked as a time when Casual Connect 2007, a professional get-together of casual game developers happened. It took place in Seattle, USA and lasted a week. During this time gamedevs and other industry people had a chance to show off with their new or upcoming titles, make deals and decide on the future of casual games.
And the trend was rather obvious: casual games are getting more complicated. From simple match-3 babes they are growing to become BIG simulation games or games with complicated plot and multi-complicated structure. If you doubt that, just check out our TOP 5 games as well as other top download lists at any casual game portal.
Ok, enough of intelligent words. Time doesn't stand still, it's the beginning of August, and we've already got two ready-made hits:
Ricochet Infinity
Interpol: The Trail of Dr. Chaos
More great games are still on the way... Stay tuned to GameMile News.
