The Best Games 2009

While everyone is anticipating the winter holidays, game developers had their sleeves up busy with creating new amazing titles for us to have fun. We actually had a fruitful year as it brought us some games undoubtedly worth attention, and I'd like to remind you about some of them.

So, what hits and interesting titles can we observe on game portals? Let's do it by genres.

Time-management, strategy and simulation:

Cooking Academy 2: World Cuisine - it's the perfect choice for action gamers. Of course, you are familiar with the first part of this hit. Be sure that the sequel preserves all the great features of the original game where you can improve your culinary skills!

Wedding Dash: Ready. Aim. Love - here you will meet Quinn and Flo and lots of happy couples hoping for a perfect wedding. The characters are really cute and watching them eating, dancing or even waiting is really amusing. Just don't forget to play while you watch!

Cooking Dash: Diner Town Studios - this time Flo is asked by her college roommate Gilda to help her with TV-themed restaurants. So you can expect to

serve the clients as quick as you can in this release in the Dash series.

Hotel Dash: Suite Success - This time you are to follow Quinn's desire to expand her wedding business by offering honeymoons.

 Hidden Object and Quest:

Puppet Show: Mystery of Joyville - The whole game, every place you are going to visit, is covered with mystery here. That becomes very obvious after a few minutes of playing for any gamer whether you are a newcomer or a guru of the genre. And you will appreciate this as a fan of the genre, I'm sure!

Avenue Flo - PlayFirst has presented a new tricky feature to the well known Diner Dash series. Avenue Flo is actually a hidden object game with puzzles to solve.

But having said that I should also add that you will be wrong if you think of a typical HOG...it's just not quite like that.

Campfire Legends: Hookman - Leave the light on when playing as the stories told around the fire are fun as long as they don't become a reality for you.

Mystery Case Files: Dire Grove

Yeah, it's that long-awaited sixth game in the Mystery Case Files series. Seems that the Master Detective's work is never done. So, get ready for the most mysterious adventure and be sure to turn sounds on!

Hope you find a game or two to your liking among the titles I listed above. Merry Christmas!
