Play Online!
If all US Internet time were condensed into one hour, how much time would be spent in the most heavily used sectors? That was the main question of the research released recently by The Nielsen Company.
Though the online games came in second in terms of time spent online, its index is steadily increasing. Now it accounts for 10.2 percent of time spent on the internet, compared to 9.3 percent a year ago. In general taken that all Internet time equals to one hour, 6 minutes and 6 seconds of it is spent on the online games. This result yields only to the time devoted to social networks and blogs (13 minutes 36 seconds). And if we take into consideration all the games that can be played in the social networks personally I doubt that the online gaming holds the second line, but not the first one. The research has also revealed that the online games overtook personal email in the past year, moving into second place behind social networks.
It looks like we communicate less online but play more online games. Perhaps it takes us more time to discuss alive the games we played online now, isn’t it?
How many times a week you visit our online tab? And how much time do you spent there playing? Let’s conduct our own GameMile research!
