April Fool'Day is the Perfect Day to have Fun!

 

 

While the phrase "April fool" started out as a way to ridicule those who refused to change with the times (back in the 1500's) it's now a way to share our humorous side with family, friends and colleagues.

 

The first of April is celebrated all around the world as the All Fool's Day. Although not a holiday, the day is recognized for its practical jokes and foolishness.

 

Nowadays it is possible to fool people on a really grand scale. One of the earliest TV hoaxes was a television program about the spaghetti harvest in Italy. The film showed farm workers gathering along strips of from the trees. There were many viewers who believed this “documentary” until the full story came out. But it is a hystory now. And nobody going to buy that load of this joke.

The style of April Fools'  pranks has changed over the years. It 's become more modern. Current tastes seem to run more to funny phone calls and media-driven extravaganzas.

 

This year, make a promise to yourself to play at least one April Fool's joke. But watch your step, one wrong move and you could be the April Fool.Try to be a good sport and provide a laugh or two.

 

After all, the ability to laugh at one's self is a sure sign that you're not really a fool, regardless of what day or month it is.
